Yes, I love all the glitz. The gaudy costumes, the dancing girls, etc. Charlton Heston makes me heave, though.

Actually now that I think about it, things didn't turn out to well for her at the end of the film but still a great de mille epic.

Nefertiri (sp?) reminds me of Veronica in the Archie comics.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, a recommended author for Canadians is Catherine Parr Traill. She was Suzanna Moodie's sister, but a much more interesting writer (in my opinion). Not so damned gloomy.
