    All summer i've been trying to reach my 1000min mark have come not eve pitifully close each month, so this month is the month!

  • Good Monday Morning Ladies. Afraid I slacked this weekend, but on the up side, I did do a lot of cleaning that I've been putting off.
    I have to run with it when the mood strikes!

  • OK, lessee....

    October 3 - "only" 10 minutes on the treadmill. But better than ZERO minutes, I guess.

    October 4 - 30 minutes at Curves!

    October 5 - A bust.

    Total so far: 105 down, 695 to go.

    Never done an exercise challenge. Starting late so:

    800 minutes for the rest of the month.
  • Welcome ZadieK, Good for you not waiting until the next month. I hope that you find this a useful tool in getting in better condition, it's certainly helped me. Welcome to our Gang!
  • I have found one of the HUGE benefits of regular exercise is the feeling of wellbeing and overall contentment. Exercise is a great way to release endorphins which promotes this feeling. It in turn will make you feel more in tune to stay on your program and do well for yourself. Until I started on a road to regular exercise, I never knew the benefits other than weight loss help and boy I learned a valuable lesson. If we could only realize that we have it backwards and that if we exercise, it will help us to get on a stay on a weight loss program instead of cutting cal etc and struggling to be happy doing it. Congrats to all of you that have chosen the path to good health by participating in this challenge!
  • I'm going to jump in on this October exercise challenge. I pledge 1200 minutes for the rest of October. I always need a push. I think this will do. Happy exercising everybody.
