I had to go in first thing this morning for a meeting but am now back at home working and thought I would drop in and say Hi, tonight is Homecoming parade and DD2 will be marching in. Still eating op and hoping the scale moves down some more this week but tom arrives next week so might not happen...as long as scale doesn't go up it's a win.

Another couple of busy days here. I opted for a short walk after dinner tonight since I didn't have time after school today. We are still having beautiful weather and with unusually warm temperatures. One of these days fall (winter?) is going to hit!

Debbie, I know this has been a stressful time for you so don't beat yourself up for the cookies. Hope you and Kirk are able to get your errands accomplished.

Pearlrose, it is so gratifying when the scale moves! With only 10 days left I am going to have to be completely OP to meet my September weight loss goal.

Need to do a little work while I sip my decaf.

Remind me not to volunteer to come in at 0300 anymore. LOL I need a nap. Pearlrose thank you, I am quite please with how it came out. Now it makes me motivated to get the kitchen done.

I went to bed at 8:00 last night and am already looking forward to bed tonight. No plans after work other than possibly going to CVS. Might not even do that lol

Good morning, early bird Jennifer! 0300 would not agree with me either! I was never a night owl or all-nighter type of person. At least your shift is almost over now.

Another busy day of work today but at least no after school clubs or meetings. I often stay after to do grading but I think I will come right home today to be sure to get in my workout and then do my grading at home. Today the scale finally was back to where it was before I went out to eat Sunday night; I think I should resist the urge to go out and cook at home for the next 2 weeks!

It is going to be a scorcher today up to 100 degrees, is it really the middle of September? I did my yoga this morning and I will try to do a walk if it is not to hot at lunch time with the doggie. Nothing on the agenda this evening.

Jekel I used to work early mornings but not at 3 a.m. lol, I did 1 year of working weekend overnights at work 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. when DD2 was about 3 so I could spend time with her on the weekdays but couldn't handle it, I was so fatigued all the time so switched back to days.

Beth I will need to stay op as well with no deviations and hopefully will make my goal for the month. Not sure if it is a technical issue about our stickies not showing up.

Another hot and humid day on the weather schedule with no rain in sight for at least a week. My cleaning angel comes today and I will be sure to turn on the AC which will be much needed. After this alleged "summer", it's not had much use. weed

Bruce is planning to work outside today and I've just sprayed him with OFF so he can survive the mosquito armies out there. He plans to cut down that darned Japanese knotweed in the lane, a magnet for yellow jackets. (I park my car there and five of the bastidges were in my car yesterday after some idiot left the window slightly open.) I plan to do deskwork while the "flunkies" do their thing and am hoping to get all the documentation for Mac completed, signed and off to the government. (Discovered yesterday that their vehicles were registered in both names which impeded finishing.)

No problem with dinner tonight as we are off for a Chinese buffet date - I'll skip tomorrow's weigh-in. Really was hoping to drop a few before our vacation but it's not gonna happen. The couple who invited us are in town just until tomorrow and insist that they have a gift certificate they must use before returning to the US. (We always are willing to help out our American "cousins"!)

Good morning!

I'm sitting on the porch in Glenwood with my coffee. Unfortunately, I have come down with a cold. I tried to do everything I could to stave it off yesterday but that's not the case. We did enjoy the pool, though. When I go inside we will get ready and head back over. Kirby is out of antibiotics tomorrow and they are closed tomorrow through Tuesday. I'm pretty sure that's what they're going to want to do at this point.

Nothing else new. I'm just going to lay low and see if I can get rid of this before I go back to work on Sunday. Have a great Friday everyone!

Anyway, same old same old at work today, which is fine. I am making shrimp and scallops for dinner tonight. The shrimp are boiled and the scallops coated with parm cheese and almonds, then baked. Captain's Platter!

Ruth, good to hear from you. Hope you got your desk work done. The weather is slated to shift next week.

Pearlrose, do you go watch DD at the football games? I can't remember, does she play an instrument or do color guard?
