Other than that, I'm happy to report that I have been active every single day this week, no excuses made. For example, yesterday I finished work really late but right after supper, David and I got out and walked for 35 minutes. This morning I did some pilates and abs exercises. Funny to say but I hate doing exercises on the floor, so I will not be doing those two workouts anymore.
Good luck with your last appointment,
Martine. This has been a long, frustrating road for you. I'm happy though, that you've healed quite a bit and made progress.

Great job on getting a walk in after a long day AND after supper. That's commitment!

Well I gained last month and I am totally not surprised. I am however down 2lbs since the 30th so that's a plus ... but I'm sure it's water weight. I am hoping to get back into the 170's this month and stay there. Have any of you tried the ilovethisdiet.com frozen food diet? or any frozen food diet? Just curious as to how you chose your frozen meals since all them have a ton of sodium. I did a frozen meal for dinner and a salad back in 2010 when I first started and it worked. For breakfast I had a meal that I prepared and I think I did a slim fast shake as my snacks, lunch was some kind of wrap I think. I wish I could find all of my old journals. I hand wrote everything back then.
Rennie, I've never been a frozen food diet per se, but I did something similar as you when I was in the weight loss "zone." My breakfasts would either be oatmeal with fruit (fall/winter) or a homemade smoothie (spring/summer), either a salad or frozen dinner for lunch and a protein rich dinner. I would alternate so I wouldn't get bored. I was never concerned about the sodium or had a sodium problem, but I understand others might have to keep close eye on this. Also, this basic plan worked all throughout my weight loss. The only reason it stopped working is because I got complacent.

I have no doubt you'll get back into your old 10K

habits quickly,
gulfmagnolia. No excuses but isn't a relief to see days ahead of you that are clear and you don't have to plan around?

As for me, it's going to be a blistering

day with an anticipated temperature of 105 degrees!

I'm grateful every day that I work indoors in an air conditioned environment. Now that we've turned the calendar page to August, I can no longer deny that fall will be here sooner than I think. The university I work at doesn't resume classes until the last week of September but all the public schools begin near the end of this month. Hard to stay in denial when you see kids with new backpacks and all the back-to-school sales in stores.
Wishing everyone a great day!
