On a nice front to good weight related things happened tjis weekend. I got in the scale fully clothed with tennis shoes on after lunch and I weighed 3 pounds less than I did last time I was on the scale, and the last time was when I was naked!

Also, I sat on DH lap after asking him if he thought that I'd lost anything and he said, "Lift your feet up" I told him I was and he said, "Then you definitely are loosing. I can really tell since you are sitting here. Now get up, your tailbone is driving into my thigh! Wahoo!!!

Congratulations Kris!!!

Isn't that a wonderful feeling? I went to my gym today. First time since May and my exercise clothes did not feel very comfortable on me. Very tight like I was even heavier. Well, I know that I'm not down to where I should be but that was a discouraging feeling. However, after I came home and got out of my sweaty clothes I stepped on the scales I was pleasantly surprised! I will not reveal what it said till tomorrow morning when I'm supposed to officially weigh in. If I play my cards right... it should be even better tomorrow!

Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday. Hey, Daphne tomorrow is your big day isn't it? The kids go off to school!

Morning everyone..the sun is out today..and am going to town to run errands..congratulations to all the loosers way to go girls..you are inspiring me to do better.. hope everyone had a great weekend..ours was real quiet..the grandkids start school today..and the grd who lives here starts kindergarden on wed and boy is she excited..my mil said to me when my girls were little that once they start school the years just seem to fly by and here i am a gramma its all too true..will check in later yall have agreat day rosey

Hello Everyone... WOW A new thread.. I almost made the same mistake that Sheree did and start one..untill I saw Donna's name and said here is everyone...It was a long weekend.. Jim didnt feel to good..I guess it was the last treatment and he was bloated and nausia more than usual..but happier days are ahead..We are counting down the days to MB..cant wait..reservations are made and we are really excited about it..Cant wait to see Mr. Ocean

Sounds like you have been really busy since we all last heard from you..I hope that you are better..I appreciate Donna suming up what has been going on for everyone..She did a great job in telling you..We all have had our share of bad things and trying times since you have been gone.. I am praying everyday that we all have better times ahead and that the bad is gone.. Again I am so glad to know that you are alright and back with us..

First of all you are not nuts or what ever you said..You have been going through a rough period and I know that we all can relate to them...I am so glad you are going to the gym and getting back to a place where you sound happy..I know that you will do great losing... I am so glad to hear that Elena seems to like her school now..I knew that she would ajust she is no different than any other child with a new school it takes time but they ajust..

Rosey.. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 34 WEDDING ANIVERSARY..I know that you have been upset about your dieting.. I have heard of them doing that but never to someone I know..I am so glad you didnt get up to see what was out there..Yes its always alot of things to do when you get back from a trip Laundry and the like..Never ending for a woman..I always say.. Dana.. I wanted you to know that the wonderful card you sent and all your sweet thoughts and Kindness were greatly appreciated by Jim and me..He really like the part that was for him..He said to tell you Thank-you so much again....and that you are truly a wonderful lady..and friend.. We are both very blessed to have you in our lives..I hope that you get that knot looked at real soon..You need to get it checked out....ASAP..Our Doctor told us once that some people can be cyst-proned..Its something in the blood that causes them to keep coming back and not always in the same place.. I am getting ready to go see our Doctor so he can check Jim's hole out and it will hopefully close real soon now.. seeing how he will have no more Chemo Thank God.. After that we are going to the store for grocerys and get "OUR" diets off to a good start..
We walked yesterday and will be today before we go shopping.. Its so we will do it at the mini mall..We both want to start out with positve attitudes and do things right on our new journey.

I just wanted to let you all know how much your friendships have meant to me and how much you all have given me .. I really dont think that I could be doing this with out all of you..and for that I am very blessed....
I hope that all of you have a wonderful week and reach all your goals....I will be trying hard to do the same..

Summer, I'm sorry Jim had a rough weekend. I hope the visit with the PC doctor went well yesterday. I have to say that your words of gratitude was very sweet but many times I didn't feel like I was doing enough for you. However, I know that just having someone to talk to and who really listens is sometimes the best support one can have. Much love to you!

Rosey, I hope your grandbaby who starts kindergarten today has a wonderful first day! Also hope that your other grandkids are having a good first week of school. How is Steve feeling? How are YOU feeling?

Kris, Daphne, Sheree and Glen my fellow WW partners, My 6th weigh in was today. I lost 2.5 pounds! Makes a total of 14.5 total loss. However when I posted my weight I got cautioned that it isn't healthy to lose more than two pounds a week. That I should be using more of my flex points! I have to tell you over the weekend I couldn't help but use them!

Well, I'm off to my Pilates class. It's my birthday today too and I need to make this year start off the right way! Talk to you all later!

Just a quick post to Donna. Happy Birthday and congrats on that loss. I had mailed you a card yesterday and overheard the postoffice here say that all mail went into greenville and then distributed so rather than the over night turn around, it may be tomorrow before you see it. At any rate, hope you have an enjoyable day. Nothing but chaos and mess going on here. I'll fill in later maybe.

Also...it looks like I will be joining the WW ladies and Glen on my Weight Loss Journey..The Doctor said he would prefer us to do WW cause it is a much better diet than any of the others out there..So we said OK....
The SBD was ok he said but Jim needs everything from all food groups and SBD is to limited on some things.. So thats where we are...I am just glad to be on my way..to a new me and a better me..and Jim said he is glad too...
Now the next big thing is to pray that Jim's CT Scan comes out clean..then I will be really in the Streets..

I am here just was glad to get the kids off to school today. I went shopping and didn't have to bring a kid,,,, that was so nice. I can also go to my meetings each week now with no problem finding a babysitter.
Happy Birthday Donna!I am glad to see that you are posting. I was busy with Jason and the kids this weekend. We did end up going to the beach for the day and got home very late. Monday we slept until around 10:30. We went food shopping and did some errands too.

I just can't believe that NO ONE has posted today! It's 4:23 here in SC and we were threatened to have a horrific storm but it's passed us by now.

I had a nice birthday yesterday. Thank you EVERYONE for your wishes. I was still being celebrated at lunch time today when a friend of mine took me out to a Japanese steak house. She made me a votive candle holder of a leaf and gave me a box of votive candles to go along with it. At the restaurant last night since I insisted no cake Jim had a bouquet of flowers delivered to the restaurant for me. That was my birthday cake! I thought that was very considerate of him and I appreciated him following my wishes. One of my sisters gave me a certificate for a pedicure! I've never had one of those before. My other sister gave me a nice gown from Victoria's Secret! My sister who lives in KC and my Dad gave me money. Elena and Jim gave me a smoothie maker. I did ask for that.

Well, anyway. I think I made good food choices all three times I ate out. I also went back to the gym this morning. That's three days in a row! LOL

I'm hoping some one else will check in and I'll look later.
