Good Evening! It is very humid here and we are in a severe thunder storm watch right now, but the sun is shining.

My church counting partner is gone this week so the pastor's wife helped me count this afternoon. She thought we balanced and left; when I did my part I didn't match her figures. I checked and double checked my figures,

then I finally gave up, left everything in the locked file, and came home. We had a 50% off sale in the gift shop so that was a little chaotic when I stopped to pick up the money. There was a finance charge bill waiting for me from a company that I don't like in the first place. The buyer said it was her fault because two invoices were stapled together. I checked through my checkbook and invoices when I got home, and I never got the *^%+# invoice in the first place! Another mess to straighten out tomorrow.
Susan, what is the Dominion bill? Hope your weather shapes up and you are breathing easier. What a nice neighbor to tend to your flowers and plants!

I don't like football either, and say a silent prayer before each game for the kids' safety. If nothing else, Ian is like Jason was, and one of the bigger kids. Jason is very particular about checking his helmet to be sure it fits the way it is supposed to. Zowie has asked for a horse for her birthday and for Christmas, but so far no luck.
"Gma," I can't imagine the amount of jewelry you have!

I get in a rut and wear the same two or three pair of earrings and call it good. I do wear my watch, wedding rings, and mother's ring every day. I've wanted to do something with the grandkids' birthstones but can't decide what. Ian's isn't very pretty, topaz, and Kolby's is a diamond, Zowie is Emerald, and Maddy is peridot -- not pretty combinations but the jeweler suggested something with a diamond between each birthstone. Are the fruit bars frozen or chewy bars? They sound good! I let myself talked into going on a horse trail ride when we were in Colorado with two other couples. Of course I get the biggest horse and stuck at the end of the line. The "boss" says not to let your horse stop and eat. My horse had a mind of his own and he was hungry; I vowed I would never get on another horse. I haven't either!
Bob says it is time to feed his face so guess that is my clue. Hope you enjoy a nice evening!
