  • Quote: I'm a librarian! Right now I do general services but focus mostly on youth. I hope to be a children's/youth services librarian soon and then eventually go on to be the manager or director of a children's department in a major library system.
    Very cool

    Oh wow, cool

Super cool Rosinante! I had to look up what a Vicar was and think it wonderful to see. Were you one of the first 32 women ordained as Church of England priests?
  • I am a banker...
  • I am a customer service rep for a 3rd party insurance administrator. Yes, yes I know it sounds super glamorous, lol. But I have my days when I do and do not like my job, but I have been doing the same thing for over 15 years. I went to school to be a chef and realized you cannot eat everything you make so here I am.
I do have my brokers license which is a requirement for my position due to ACA and it was one of the hardest test I have ever taken to get my state license. But compared to other companies that do the same thing that we do in our dept, I make a really good living, so no complaints here.
  • Mother of two teenagers.

Full time job with no paid vacations, holidays or a lunch hour.

    But I love it.
  • On a career break just now. I'm usually an operations manager for a non-profit but I'm not cut out for it as I don't enjoy managing people and am also not very good at that side of it. I took the break to focus on myself and my family for a little bit (hello weight loss journey!) and also potentially to re-train into something I'm more suited to. Now if I only knew what that was.....
  • I am currently a nurse and attorney.
  • Some really interesting jobs here. I am with TheLunchLady and work abroad in Europe in the EFL teaching field. I love my job and the people I meet and learning their motivations for language learning. I also love being able to travel, but not sure how much more moving around I will do now, seem to have struck gold with this beautiful city!
  • I'm an Assistant Director in an academic success center at a major public university. I have specific oversight for the campus transfer center. Mimsyborogoves, if I had to do it all over again, I'd be a librarian.
  • I'm currently on leave but I sell wedding dresses.
  • I am a theatre artist.
  • I'm a Database Administer and write/support Web Applications for the Government (!). It wasn't in my original plan, but it's VERY rewarding because I'm supporting our Veterans!
  • I do closed captioning and I teach ballet. Hoping to get more into the teaching since that's what my degree is in; captioning is fun but hard on the wrists and hands.
