Odd we use horking to mean puking. Do you suppose the lack of an a in my version is really all the difference between snot and vomit?

Belle - maybe you didn't eat enough to compensate for all the activity and your body went into starvation mode and is hanging on to everything?

Idiosyncracies ... I don't "mix" my food - i have to eat all of the meat, then all of the vegetables, then whatever is next. not in any particular order but i must finish everything before i've gone onto another... i'm working on this habit!

By the way... i did it! i jumped into the 160's this morning! Yeah!

Jayne I am with you kind on the air thing. I have to have fresh air. Dh loves to ciuddle me and lay his face near mine. NO WAY! I have to have fresh cool air to breath.
I have to have my body under a blanket when I sleep no matter how hot it is,
I can not sleep with my arms stretched over my head when I go to sleep the Turtle Heads will snap them off. Mom told me about Turtle Heads when I was like 4 and the story changed in my head!
I have to have the closet doors closed in my room at night. Boogey Man will get other wise.

Belle how did WI go today? What did your leader talk about today? Mine talked about pleateus and how they are normal and gaining even when better then 100% OP is normal. Do Not Give Up!
Oh one more quirk. I do not like my food to touch each other and usually eat one thing at a time. I am not as bad as I use to be but food does not touch on my plate.

Daphne - I've always been told that there aren't any witches/monsters under the bed but I secretly think the rest of the world is wrong...there are witches under the bed....it's why I have to sleep with my feet covered....the witches might nibble on them otherwise....plus I have jump free of the bed if I get out of it in the dark or the witches might reach out and grab my ankle......

Laura~ Your kind of scaring me I have to have the bedroom door shut though b/c I feel like people are watching me sleep if I don't. I know I am a complete loon! Dh finds it funny. I also regularly play out how I would handle an emergency if "blah blah" happenend. Although this could have to do with me being in a CVS during a near hold up. SCARY!! I was paranoid before but now I am a bit more aware of what goes on around me.

Belle~ Have fun this wknd. I vote that you should go weigh in. You already said you will probably give up due to this mornings weigh at home so the only thing that couyld change THAT is if you go WI and realize your scale at home is possessed. Maybe Laura's witches got a hold of it

Let's see, weird quirks. I blow my nose really loudly. I don't do it in public (at least I try not to), but it drives DH crazy because I blow my nose every morning when I get out of bed. Sometimes I go outside so I don't wake him up!

Tunnels freak me out. And I'm living in an area where you frequently have to go through tunnels to get anywhere! I live on a Peninsula, and if you want to go to the cool places like Norfolk and Virginia Beach, you have to go through a tunnel. I'm OK if traffic's moving, but when traffic backs up, I feel all closed in and have visions of water crashing on top of me.

I'm obsessive-complusive when it comes to making sure the stove, oven, iron, etc. are off when I leave the house, even if I haven't had them on. Sometimes I even unplug the coffee machine because once I read about a coffee maker that shorted out when no one was home! I also double-check locks.

Now, before you all think I'm really nuts, I'll shut up.

Here's my good news ... I lost another pound! That's 8.2. I've just lost a pound a week for the past three weeks so I've decided to try eating two points under my maximum points and see if that makes a difference. Not counting tonight. I'm going out for martinis and dinner with a girl I used to work with who recently moved to the area.

Oh, Kierie: I VOTE FALL! I got married in early November and everything was based on colors of red, orange and yellow. The wedding was outside under a tree!

Gotta poke in to say that hoarking is the absolute WORST!!! I almost gagged just reading about it.

Idiocy for me...I hate raisins. In baking or chocolate covered. Stems from my dad calling them dead flies. Ugh! Dead flies in baking. Gross! I have lots more but I need to clear off my desk before my vacation!!

All right Kim on the 1#! One pound per week is actually excellent progress - especially for 3 straight weeks! you don't want to go too fast or they say that it comes back easier (don't ask me who "they" is but i know i've read it before!)

ok i am late cuz Hope (my 5 yr old) is sick so i will make this short. i have been up and down all week and not journaling why is it when i am good i jpurnal but when i am bad i don't...grrr...weigh is tomorrow...not looking forward to it again! i have got to get back on track!

idiosyncracies (did i spell that right?)...i have to crack like every bone in my fingers, ankles, and knees before i can get comfy to go to sleep. the covers have to be "just right". and i always have one last cigarette before bed. i am always picking up the coffee table, it just erks me to look at it cluttered. and i can't sleep alone. if hubby is gone, Hope gets to sleep with me. lol ok now i feel like i am a wierdo!
