  • Welcome LeahBear!!!
  • 4 days in and 4 days done Loving this challenge. I do feel it will become more difficult down the road.
  • I agree Dreamer2012. I was thinking it may be a good thing to come up with a list of easy day exercises. Just to be prepared.
  • Welcome ZleahBear!

Quote: SuperHeroTeacher What is L. Sansone?
Leslie Sansone is a series of walk at home fitness videos on DVD (I found several on YouTube). I have severe arthritis in both of my knees, so I'm starting out slow and easy.

Me too! Today was my first day of summer break and I worked out first thing this morning!
  • Not even 1pm here yet and my 3 mile walk and weight lifting has been done for the day! It's much better working out in the morning/early afternoon for me. Rest of the day free!
  • Thanks everyone. Was feeling better yesterday, must have been a quick bug! I DID exercise yesterday, so, do I need to start my 100 days over or do I count yesterday as day three? I want to point out, I exercised despite the fact my daughter dropped a bowling ball on my foot and more or less shattered my big toe nail (surprisingly the toe is fine, the nail, not so much.) It hurt...but I worked through the pain! I so love kids...and sometimes I want to bloody throttle them

No starting over in this challenge! We're all just working toward 100 days of exercise, if we need a break now and then that's okay!

I haven't exercised yet today... At this point I'm not likely to...

Edited to add: I did it! At nearly 10pm I squeezed my workout in. No skipped days yet! Tomorrow I'm going back t first thing to get it over with
  • Thanks SHT!

    So...

    Day 3: 30DS
Day 4: 25 minutes walking at 4.0 mph, 10 minutes jogging at 4.27 mph (yeah, I know, I am slow)

  • I'm so impressed that so many of you have 8 or 9 days of exercise in (no breaks)! I had to take a break on Friday. My official Medifast weigh in had me down only 0.2 pounds for the week, and it was 105 degrees... I just couldn't muster the initiative to do it. However, I did drop a couple pounds the next day, so I'm not beating myself up about it...

  • Okay, so I am behind in posting, but 6 days down.

And for the record...I HATE yoga. "Do yoga" they say. "It's easy" they say. "It won't feel like a workout at all" they say. Yeah...they can shove it. It was harder than my three mile run today combined with my double whammy of 30DS back top back with a touch of ab work thrown in. Maybe my muscles where just worn down...or maybe yoga is tougher than all of that. Regardless, I SO don't like it. 5 minutes in wore me out more than 2 hours of everything else today. WHAT the heck is that about! It was just breathing and stretching!!!!

(actually...maybe I liked it. I like challenges...but I think I am not ready for the challenge of simple stretch )
  • I loved yoga when I was more normal sized (translation - overweight instead of obese). I find it IMPOSSIBLE now, partly because of my size and partly because of my achy arthritic joints. It definitely is harder than it looks!
  • I'd love to exercise for 100 days.. I have walked 30 minutes 5 days of this month but is it ok if I start tomorrow and call it day one for me? I'd love to see how many days in a row I can get in exercise.
  • Start whenever you like! We're not one of those strict rules kind of challenges , just some nice people challenging ourselves to get into shape! and support each other along the way.
