  • My goals for September:
    1. Snack less, remain binge free.
    2. Work out at least 3x per week.
    3. Lose 2lbs per week. Start Sept 3: 163.4 lbs Goal Oct 1:155 lbs
    4. Drink 60 oz. (5 x 12 oz) of water each day.

    We have a busy October coming up, and I want to look better than I do now- we have a trip to visit family for a week (I live in the North, and a trip 'out' is a fairly big deal), both of my girls' birthdays are in October, and it is my 30th birthday in October (eek!)- I want to look and feel better then!
    September, here I come!

    I made a short starter post in the Introductions forum, so I'm not going to re-post it here. I have been losing weight (and doing well) since the 1st of August, so I'd like to continue that in September.

    My goals for September:
    * Keep eating clean.
    * Walk for an hour at least six times a week.
    * Be more consistent with strength training.
    * Post here at least three times a week.

    No weight goals, since I'm not using a scale.

    Penguin - The tea fiber you mentioned in your latte recipe, what is it and where do you buy it? Is it just fiber, no calories?

  • I never looked at it that way . That's '1 teaspoon' fiber just regular white fiber powder.
  • Oh, DUH! 1 "tsp" fiber! Thought it had something to do with tea leaves!
  • My goals for September:

    1. write everything down
    2. exercise 1200 minutes this month (exercise everyday)
    3. Eat less sugar
  • Bunneh, I find the common abbreviations for teaspoon and tablespoon confusing and I write a lot of things in all caps to make it easier to read so I made my own abbreviations of tea and TB. Didin't mean to confuse you.

    So far my day has been good. Eating has been good and I plan on getting my workout in soon. I'm also getting my water in today.

  • I've had a good day. Haven't drunk as much water as I should have, I'll get some more in tonight.
    I'm at a new lower number on the scale today too- down 1.5 from what I saw yesterday - I'll see what is on the scale tomorrow, and then maybe revise my weight goal for September. Getting to 159 from 163 doesn't seem like a very ambitious goal for the month!

  • Today I ate about 1600 calories which is higher than I usually do, but I was really hungry at dinner and had a huge salad and lots of veggies. So I am making today my "higher" cal days, and tomorrow I will try to go back down to normal. I'm gonna do 40 minutes of cardio and strength train after! I gotta stay on track!!
  • Hi everyone, I'm brand new! But I'd love to join this challenge. I'll be visiting NYC in later September so it will be a little tricky to eat clean-I do love my wine But I want to lose 2-3 pounds before I go to get back to my normal weight. I've gained a few due to some binge problems Nothing too bad, I feel uncomfortable and my jeans are too tight! My goals:

    1)Exercise six days a week
    2)Eat 1200-1400 calories per day, 1400 only a couple times a week if my body needs it
    3)Lose 2 or 3 pounds
    4)Check in here a couple times a week to keep myself accountable

  • This has been one of THOSE days. Weighed myself first thing only to find I'm at my highest since the beginning of the year. The house alarm started beeping every 30 secs for half the day because Hubby didn't change the batteries in the fire alarm like he was supposed to last week. I cleaned the house in the morning, the beeping started, he was able to come home and fix it before I ripped it off the wall. Then I finally get to the fun part of my day, my workout, and the electricity blinks, shutting down my TV and DVD player mid workout so I had to restart, find my place etc. Sat is traditionally pizza night but I was too tired and upset to want to make one so we ate out of cans. Sigh.

    Sat, Sept 1

    Breakfast Latte

    6 slices chicken lm, 1 cheese, sweet chili sauce, 2 onion bread

    iced coffee, 4 triscuit + 1TB PB

    1/2 can beef ravioli + 1/2 can carrots, more coffee but hot this time

    apple + 2TB PB

    45min cardio

  • hi I'm new to this thread, but I see some familiar people. Mind if I join y'all?I went off plan at a bbq I went to today. Think I went over my calories by about 700. ugh. Tomorrow I have to work extra hard!

    My Sept goals:
    -to get down to 287 lbs by 9/30 (that will be 25% of my total goal!)
    -to get 15 hrs of cardio each week
    -to stay within my calorie range of 1600-1700 daily
