    YES!!!! I get the same swings! When i am TRULY hungry - I have major whooshes! Power through and you are rewarded!
  • Egg whites. Also, hormonal changes around your TOM can make your hungrier. Hang in there...

    Yeah, I use to do my restricted at breakfast too and was not hungry until I hit my 4 hour mark... restricted with coffee, or tea and water...
  • I am not sure why, but I actually cannot add spinach to my morning shake (unless I know I can have coffee or something before lunch) - otherwise, I would get too hungry within an hour or two. Try eliminating the spinach from the morning shake entirely and see if that helps.

    ^^ this! If I use a bar for breakfast along with my coffee and my morning water...I can go a LONG time between meals. Then its 2c veggies for lunch -- sometimes with 4 ozs protein, sometimes a shake. Another shake right before leaving work at 4 pm, then HUGE salad and protein for dinner.

    If I start the day with a shake...hungry, hungry, hungry!
