  • I customized my calories and percentages. It's just a program that assigns numbers. It said I'd lose like 1.2 lbs a week with 1200 calories and I've lost like 3 lbs a week with 1400. I eat 1200 some days, but for me that's to restrictive to be my goal every day, especially when working out.

  • I take it back. I went biking for 40 minutes and MFP granted me over 500 bonus calories. One bike ride does not a Big Mac justify. It was nice because it changede from being over for the day to under.

    And question. Why did this thread get moved? How does asking for support buddies qualify for 'general chatter' ? It doesnt seem substantially different from others asking for support.
  • I also use MFP (brvsfan99). I love it and I do typically eat most of my exercise calories. If I am in a hardcore routine I would starve if I didn't eat them. I have my profile set to lose 1.5 pounds per week. When I follow it religiously I loose 1-3 pounds a week and that is usually a 5 day week.

    I need to get back on it! If no one minds I would like to add those of you that have listed your user names for that extra support that I know I need. Hopefully I can give you the support that you need.

  • I've been using MFP since I started my journey! I know it's off on calorie intake and burning sometimes, but it's really handy to keep track of things and also see how far I've come in losing pounds.

  • I am using it and have lost almost 17 lbs in 55 days! I do think it restricts me a lot (1200 calories) but the upside is I am lousy at actually counting them so I think for me keeping it at 1200 is most likely me really eating about 1400. I don't usually count healthy fruits and things with really low calories like pickles. I try not to eat my exercise calories but I will often exercise if I see I have gone over my total calories for the day. Add me, I am cofkel on MFP.
