Ncunceo - CONGRATS!!! Even if the marathon didn't go your way, you still completed one which puts you in a very elite category...then you did ANOTHER which puts you in an even more elite category that 99% of people really can't do - so no matter what - well done!
Deva - that's strange w/ your injury. For a little while I was having some trouble with the area behind my ankle to just under my calf - so I stretched my achilles more before running -static stretches - and it worked for me...
Jogged to the gym last night and back .95 miles each way - I did this with a backpack though and that made it SO much harder!!! Did a bunch of sprints in my kickboxing class as well so I'd guesstimate about 2.5 - 2.75 total last night - plus my kickbox class so I'm happy. Going to try to get out tonight and run the course for my 3.5 mile Central Park race next Wed. I've found that I do a lot better during a race when I've already run the course before- I guess I know what to expect so I can talk myself through it more...

I think I need to increase my iron intake.
