  • I use it as a substitute to butter, oil and olive oil in recipes. It's a little more expansive for me but I really don't like the taste of olive oil. It's my healthy fat of choice.
    I make my own peanut butter with it, since the only one I can find here is made with bad fat. That's half water half coconut oil, a bit of sugar, a bag of peanuts and I have healthier, cheaper, great tasting and less caloric peanut butter. It's great for my low carb dinners.
  • I use it for curries, the coconut milk for the sauce and I spoon some of the oil from the top and cook the vegetables in that. High in calories isn't necessarily bad.

  • I've been using coconut oil for cooking and skin care products. I don't think I could eat it straight up though.
