  • heres just a few things I like to always have around...

    -Hot Sauce! -Tapatio, Crytals, Pepper Plant ,Chipotle tabasco ( low cal and adds lots of flavor)

    -Frozen Chicken breasts/ground turkey

    -Canned + frozen veggies

    - Soy/Rice Milk

    - WW frozen dinners/Lean Couisines

    - Canned Soups ( light progresso/campbells)

    - Greek yogurt

    - Low cal Laughing Cow cheese wedges for a snack (35cal each)

    - Veggie Burgers
  • - Rice Cakes
    - Peaunutbutter
    - Raisins
    - Shakes
    - Fruit and veggies
    - Yogurt
    - Brown Rice
    - Fish
  • -whole chicken
    I cut it up to make SO's soup but keep the breast for dinners
    -carrots onions celery for mirepoix and garlic
    once again for soup making or poultry roasting
    -Jasmine Tea
    I replaced juice and soda with it
    -bottled water
    the tap water here tastes icky even after being filtered
    -skim milk
  • We are following a high protein/low carb diet... and our go to foods are these:

    Meat, meat, chicken, chicken, pork, and more meat...lol.. :-P

    We were buying a lot of frozen vegetables but have totally switched over to fresh:

    Some Protien Bars
    WW Frozen Meals
    Milk

    For breakfast I eat an egg/cottage cheese/and yogurt
    Lunch I usually eat a low cal frozen meal like WW or leftovers from dinner
    Dinner is typically a side of protein/some veggies/and milk
  • Lean Ground Beef
    Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
    Boneless, Thin-Sliced Pork Chops

    Eggs
    Organic Milk
    Light Sour Cream (not fat free, blegh!)
    1% Cottage Cheese
    Reduced fat shredded cheeses: (mexican, pizza, and marble jack)

    Lunch meat (Turkey or ham)

    Whole-wheat bread
    Flat-outs
    Trader Joe's pizza dough
    Fiber One pancake mix

    Salsa

    Tortilla chips
    Brown rice
    Low-Carb/High-Fiber Tortillas (Target has some fantastic low-carb tortillas... 11g of fiber and only 80 calories. And they're not whole-wheat! I don't know... whole wheat tortillas don't taste good to me.)

    Lettuce
    Green, Red, Yellow Pepper
    Onion
    Red potatoes
    Spaghetti squash
    Butternut squash
    Tomatoes (cherry)

    Alexia frozen sweet potato french fries (best kind!)
