  • How do you make homemade? My dad told me that it's poisonous if you make it wrong, so that scared me off from making some. I think he might have just said that so I wouldn't try making it, though. lol.

    This is how I do it! It's the recipe from my Southern Living Christmas Cookbook. I was born in the South but live in Asia and am as un-Southern as possible when it comes to food: mostly vegan/vegetarian, unfried, almost nothing processed. But I LOVE the southern holiday recipes and this cookbook. This cranberry sauce one is a winner!
  • I love homemade cranberry sauce. I usually do 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup of water and 1 bag of cranberries. I may also add a couple dashes of balsamic vinegar.
  • I LOVE cranberry sauce. I always make my own with no real sugar, or just a little real sugar. I've always liked the canned stuff, too, though. Cranberries are magical.
