  • jenkaye! We're a great bunch here and are always ready to cheer you on and keep you on-track. We are looking forward to getting to know you, too. Oh, and, enjoy your snow! Just keep it there, ok?
  • jenkaye! Jumping in is the best way! I had only tried SBD once before and this time around it was 100% different having support.

AldergroveBC, glad you finally made it to work! Yay for a long weekend on your horizon.

chickadeee, hope your thumb is feeling better!

Okie(BellaLucia), always good to hear from you!

Work was busy now I need to hop on some things so we can get outta here for 2 days...we'll leave early in the morning. I have to be back to work Saturday morning.
  • Evening, ladies. It's been a long night at work already and I have a feeling there's more to come. *sigh* Oh well...better than being unemployed, so yay. LOL

Ruthxxx - I would LOVE to sit around a kitchen table w/ you wonderful ladies. Can you imagine??? That would be one great conversation!!! LOL Glad to hear you're getting some of that water weight gone...I know it's not easy dealing w/ swollen legs. I think Jerry Springer is worse, though, ha ha.

Twynn - Come on, now, we all know that it's Maury that does all the paternity testing!!! Seriously, does he even do shows about anything else anymore??? I had to stop watching him (even though it was only occasionally) when they had a woman on there who was having the 10TH MAN tested for paternity. Really??? As for Snickers...they ain't what they used to be once you've been on Southbeach, huh??? Wal-mart carries some sugar free candy, though, and I think they call it something stupid like "nougatty nutty caramel" or something and it's like a Snickers bar but not as overly sweet.

Cyndi - You're right...the salad ended up being just the thing I needed. Not too heavy so it didn't make me feel all blah and heavy for my workout...and no lightheadedness!!! I don't know what is up w/ me lately...it's like I just don't want to eat or something and I'll feel hungry but I'll say "ehhh, I'll eat later" and end up going 6 and 7 hours between meals. Maybe it's the time change...either way, I need to get my head on straight, LOL

Chelby - I read somewhere a while back that an apple actually helps you wake up more than a cup of coffee does. I like to have an apple w/ some greek yogurt mixed w/ natural peanut butter and splenda, but it's off-limits since I'm still doing Phase I. Shame...it's really one of my favorite snacks.

WaistingTime - Amen to that, girl. I used to love rice and pasta and bread, but I've found it's a lot easier to do w/o it now that I've been on Southbeach for a while. My fruit and veggies, though...I could never give them up!!! Hope your headache has gone away by now.

chickadeee - Ouch...hope your thumb is throbbing less by now.

jenkaye - Welcome to the site!!! If you stick to coming here everyday and posting w/ these lovely ladies, I guarantee you'll be able to stick to it this time.

    to everybody else.
