  • Hi Tiara! Welcome to the challenge and to 3FatChicks!!

I did MF last year and lost 40 pounds on it, but I couldn't afford them any more..unfortunately. Those brownies are to die for, aren't they?
  • Welcome everyone! Looking forward to getting to know you all as we work towards our goals!
  • Hiya Ladies!!! My name is Lindsy! I'm stoked for Sandy to be in Onederland btw, and I plan on hitting my goal this time!!!

I think 15lbs is a nice hearty goal.

    Starting:165.5
    Goal:150

Ok, seriously, time for the gym! haha
  • Starting: 165
    Goal: 155

I'm aiming for a 10lb loss for this challenge.
  • Welcome Beck!
    I hope you make it!
  • I'm IN! 8 pounds shouldn't be too hard if I stick to plan.

    SW: 156
    GW: 148
  • Hi all-

I hope you don't mind if I join you. I hope to lose 9 by thanksgiving.

    starting weight: 193.4
    thanksgiving goal : 184.4
  • Welcome One3Five and nikkih1288!!

How are you both gonna go about getting to your goal? You on any special plan?

I count calories, every single morsel that goes into my mouth I write down. It's kinda like an obsession now lol. And I go to the gym and sweat my booty off! haha
  • Hello all, I'd love to join in! I'm in a Christmas challenge too, but would love something a little sooner as a mini-goal. I'm using an alternate version of Ideal Protein.

My start weight is 120.8, my goal weight for Thanksgiving is 115. Just a little over five pounds, but these last ten pounds are taking forever to kick!
  • I plan on meeting my goal by counting calories. I stick to 1400-1500 a day. I also will be adding exercise when I canb tolerate it. I am recovering from surgery and cannot work out for a couple of more weeks.

Hi Lady- Welcome You can do it. What plan are you following?

    Nikki
  • Hey guys! I would love to lose between 10-13 pounds by Thanksgiving! Hopefully it's doable for me since this is the beginning(again) of my journey, and weight usually comes off easier at this point in the game.

I'm all about keeping it simple by eating less and moving more. Looking forward to making it to turkey day and beyond!
  • Oh my goodness! I'm so happy to see that so many more people have joined since I last checked in here, including my Halloween Challenge buddy, Lindsy. Hi Lindsy!

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and following everyone's progress during these next few weeks.

If anyone is interested in checking out my progress pictures from my last 3 months of dieting and exercising, including ones I took this morning, please check out 10/25/2011 on my blog (the link is right there under my name in my siggy). I'm pretty happy with the results so far.

I'm down a half pound this morning, which I was not expecting with Auntie Flo about to visit at any moment. I feel bloated and crampy. Hurry up menopause!!!

How is everyone else doing this morning? I hope everyone is on plan and working out. I plan to be stricter with my workouts this coming month, since I slacked big time last month...and it showed.

Have a great turkey Tuesday y'all! Don't forget to watch The Biggest Loser tonight for some added inspiration. I love that show!
  • Ladyrayado, could you tell me what the alternate version of Ideal Protein is? It sounds interesting.

Instead of the actual Ideal Protein products (packets, supplements, coaching, etc), I'm doing the diet on my own with alternate products. I use EAS Advantedge Carb Control shakes, Isopure Zero Carb protein powder, and Lindora protein bars. I follow the same phases and rules, I just replace the IP products with much, much cheaper ones (and I personally think they taste better, too). I'm getting similar results, I've lost 15 pounds in five weeks.
  • Very cool! Would you mind letting me know about how much you'd spend on the products you buy weekly/monthly? I don't have the money right now to do anything expensive, but this sounds really interesting and I may do it in the near future.
