Ok I woke up this morning sore as heck!! It was the kind of sore where you just shouldn't push yourself. Plus it's raining outside. I'm now going to take today and tomorrow off, then run my race on Sat. I should be super fresh for the race.
When I started my schedule I hadn't run for a whole week in nearly 2 months and was hanging on to my progress by a thread. I really didn't expect to get through the whole thing. I'm very happy with my progress. Now I'm REALLY hoping for cool dry weather on Sat and a best time.
Also today was my weigh in and I saw the 180s for the first time in 2+ years. I'm sure the extra running was what got me over the hump

.
Toonses - congrats on finishing week 2. I'm the exact opposite. I start strong and need to dig deep to finish the workout.
Justdazed - I started C25K in May at 216 pounds. I'm currently at 188 and Week 6. I was REALLY out of shape and had never run outside in my life. I did the program in conjunction with a 3FC weight loss challenge that I took seriously. Therefore I really watched what I ate. I think I started to feel a difference around week 4. At this point I had been dragging myself outside to sweat regularly and started to feel like a semi-fit person. Seeing myself jog around the neighborhood for 5 min intervals made me feel like a person who jogs. I also started to feel abs under my flab at about this point. Good Luck!! Stick With It!!
