  • I wonder why I am so hungry on my heavier workout days. I guess I really do need the extra protein.
    I was working out hard (kickboxing and then running) for 2 hours a day before IP with strict calorie counting and DID NOT DROP any weight. It was SOOOO frustrating.
    Now I cut back the heavy stuff, and workout 45 to 60 minutes and not every single day.
    I think it is very important to keep the muscles toned. so many benefits to working out beyond losing.

    I am waiting to start next week since my weigh in is on Mondays...going to stock up on all the essentials and make it a go for next week! I will probably start up a blog about it so stay tuned!
  • talked to my doc this morning about the athletic protocol and he wants me to try a week at 5 packets on workout days.

    I started today and I doubled up at breakfast to get my extra packet in, and then the rest of the day will as normal. I will tell you, that already the double packet for b-fast is really sticking with me. I still feel quite full and usually by now I am thinking about lunch!

    I am hoping this will get me closer to the 3# a week average.
