You'll never believe what I did!! I baked the cake, put it on cardboard covered with parchment paper (NO tape will hold parchment by the way..dug out my staple gun finally!!) and was walking out of the main house with it and dropped it.....Grrrrr. I was able to pick it back up and put on the board. It tore in one place but I will be able to cover that with icing. I have my icing stirred up, tips and bags all ready to get busy. Using white and lavender icings. The kid likes purple but I don't want to go to dark. I used a Wilton pan that has Happy Birthday already formed into the pattern so I won't have to write out the words. It's been so long since I decorated. I took Cake Decorating I and II years ago. I have oodles of pans so I should get back in the groove one day. I sold a humongus cake once...the lady gave me $60. Maybe one of these days.....
All I ask is that if you do it, you gotta tell us all the details of what happened.
