April I watch The Bold & The Beautiful and The Young and The Restless. Have watched them for years and years. I remember watching Y&R as a kid with Mother.

Meg too late, I already stuck my finger in the icing to taste test. You'll never believe what I did!! I baked the cake, put it on cardboard covered with parchment paper (NO tape will hold parchment by the way..dug out my staple gun finally!!) and was walking out of the main house with it and dropped it.....Grrrrr. I was able to pick it back up and put on the board. It tore in one place but I will be able to cover that with icing. I have my icing stirred up, tips and bags all ready to get busy. Using white and lavender icings. The kid likes purple but I don't want to go to dark. I used a Wilton pan that has Happy Birthday already formed into the pattern so I won't have to write out the words. It's been so long since I decorated. I took Cake Decorating I and II years ago. I have oodles of pans so I should get back in the groove one day. I sold a humongus cake once...the lady gave me $60. Maybe one of these days.....

Kemp don't let your lack of sewing skills stop you from doing up the hubbies undies....a needle and white thread and a few stitches will do the job All I ask is that if you do it, you gotta tell us all the details of what happened.

Wow......I didnt see Friday Jan 17th so I suppose no one has posted yet.remember I still dont totally understand this forum thing but I was surprised no one has already posted!

I completed my 2 mile exercise tape as I promised myself before even looking in here! That takes willpower! Not only that but have ironed 10 shirts and did a couple loads of laundry and am showered waiting for a phone call from the furnace man..........!

Last night the furnace smelled like a hot iron ( on & off)...I woke up at 1:30 a.m. and it smelled really hot so we turned off the
electric to it and put the ceramic heater in the bedroom........hubby brought in kerosene heater until we get it checked out.

This happened last year and it was electrical not the furnace!Cost big$ as electric bill tripled and electric co would make no allowances for it.............I remember well! I am not as concerned when I am awake and aware but the thought of sleeping.............a little scarry despite the host of angels I prayed for! (sincerely)!God wants us to use common sense too!

So.....how is your Friday so far ladies?

Mine wll be fine.there could be many worse things going on!
