I usually get SB flu like CRAZY but nothing this time. The week before starting it, I went nuts with the diet sodas, coffee, cake etc because I knew I'd be giving them up for awhile. Also I've been doing Phase 1 really cleanly, mostly veggies, protein and legal oils. No beans and only a greek yogurt and cheese stick per day of dairy. I'm only drinking water. With all this, I've had no flu. It's a head scratcher, but I'll take it. I'm currently in the middle of day 3.
I stopped running for a few days, partially because of the heat and partially because coming off the sugar is making me feel sluggish. I'm going to get back outside on day 4 or 5.
Also this morning, after 2 days I am down 3 pounds

197.8 Solidly in ONEderland. I'm going to a wedding in a month and really want to fit into an ambitious dress. I could really use 2 very solid weeks of weight loss. The cravings are starting to come down, but I don't know if its due to my blood sugar or the fact that I'm loosing.
This weekend my mom is cooking up a HUGE bbq, hopefully I survive it (and the leftovers).
ShannieG - glad your back on track, hopefully the flu will be gone soon. It's actually a good sign, the sickness is the junk getting out of your system. In a few days you'll have a ton of energy and pop out of bed in the morning with a bang.
