We get stuck on pounds, especially as dieters (the scale is the world, or can be when you're thinking about it all the time!) but inches are the representation of fat lost. Muscle torches calories and fat, revvs our metabolisms, makes us live longer, fights cancer, boosts brainpower, etcetera etcetera etawesomera. I am making a commitment to go by measurements and not pounds this summer, because the point is that I want to be a size 6, not a skinnyfat size 10 (which is what I'd be if I followed the scale).

Wish there was a ticker for inches...
    Good stuff...
  • I think both=) Pounds because it good for your body to get to a normal range BMI with regards to increased risk of a long list of diseases. Inches because the fat on your stomach is the dangerous fat, and let's be honest: losing inches makes your lot toned and hot.
  • Inches! Nothing better than your clothes fitting differently, which can happen even when the scale isn't budging.
