  • The only thing I'm reading right now is a Psychology book but I did just finish reading "I'll Walk Alone" by Mary Higgins Clark.
  • I just finished rereading Going Postal by Terry Pratchett, am almost done with Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman, and then I am also reading multiple history books for my dissertation. I think my next book may be The Fairy-Tale Detectives by Michael Buckley.
  • Just finished Water for Elephants. I liked it very much so went and saw the movie and I liked that too!
  • Currently reading "A Feast For Crows" (the fourth book in the Song of Ice and Fire series).
  • Quote: Just starting The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I really like it so far. Love when a book hooks me right from the get go......
I REALLY wanna read that..I almost loaded that to my Nook but I got Something Borrowed instead. I liked it so I got Something Blue and thats what I am working on now.
  • In my latest More magazine there is an article about the author of The Help. She submitted the manuscript to FORTY publishers before it was accepted for print! Can you imagine? I guess I'll have to read it!
  • Happy Cinco De Mayo Chicas !!!

I'm reading 50 Political Ideas .. Nonfiction for me!

It's fun to read. For certain characters the author writes the words so that it reads as the dialect (Mississippi) that they would be speaking. It's almost like you can hear them when you read it. Still only about 1/3 of the way through, but liking it!
  • Started Black Beans and Vice last night
  • James Patterson
  • Alone bu Lisa Gardner. I'm really enjoying her books!
  • Just finished Atonement by Ian McEwan, and am just now starting Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin (hoping to finish it in time to still catch it in theaters!)
  • Gosh, just went to see Something Borrowed with my daughter. Loved the movie, hope you like the book!!!
  • My mom sent me "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett in the mail. Only 2 chapters in but so far so good.
  • I am on a Regency romance kick right now - haven't read any beyond Georgette Heyer or Patricia Veryan for years. So I tried Julie Quinn and Suzanne Enoch and am liking them quite a lot, although not with the devotion I have for GH and PV!
