  • I am looking for cheap or even free cookbooks that list glycemic index and loads. Plus any dietary info at all. We eat pretty healthy in our house, but this is info i just don't understand complettely. thanks in advance.

BTW I was reading on another site, and ran across this statement:
"Talk to your primary care provider about being tested if you feel you are at risk. Many younger practitioners are familiar with the concept of insulin resistance, as it is now being taught in medical school. Unfortunately, old-school physicians may still be unaware of its importance."

Seemed like inportant info for goodforme. is your pediatrician an older dr.?
  • Granuloma Annulare -- a friend has this. But I've managed not to get it.

If you search for "glycemic load" you will get a bunch of books at amazon.com. Then once you know the titles you can see if you can borrow from your library and check if they are worthwhile or not.

    HTH!
