Hello Ladies!!! Coincidentally I just started P90X too!!!! Yah!! I need some partners in this to keep me motivated so I would luv to join the forum if you don't mind:-)
I do my cardio at the gym so I will only be using the strength training videos. I am not a "home video" type of girl, but I wanted to try it to change my weight training more and challenge myself.
I did Chest and Back on Tuesday and I am sore, but that means it worked!! Tonight I am going to do Arms and Shoulders I think it is....
Looking forward to it!!!
I'll check in tomorrow!

You could alternate pull up bars with bands (stick it at door) or weights. 
I can't answer your P90X question but it's nice to see you posting here
