  • I can understand both sides. When I'm totally eating junk food, I could eat a huge bag of chips in one sitting. Two hours later eat a cheeseburger. And maybe finish the day out around 3,000 calories. Once you know the calorie count, it is shocking to see how much you can really eat. As we all know when we eat junk, we are never satisfied. We are hungry all the time, no matter how much we eat.

On the other hand, when I make healthy choices and eat foods that are good for me, I'm just not hungry. I am satisfied. So this has been a bit challenging for me to get all the points in. I had 9 left last night. I hate having to "force" myself to eat yet again. LOL! (I never thought that would be a problem.) But, I have figured out that I will plan my meals ahead of time and add some higher point foods in to reach my daily 29 points. For example, I added some chopped walnuts to my oatmeal this morning just to get in more points per meal. That way I won't have them left at the end of the day. I've been eating 3 fruits/day and that keeps me from desiring a snack. I'm hoping as I bump up my exercise that will increase my appetite and I can eat all my points without it seeming like a chore.

It's going to be different so be ready for that. don't think old, just look at it from a new page in your life. It's different.

    but good.

keep your eye out for magazines specials also at Tanga. get a year for $2.99 sometimes.

You can definately do it this time and make it to goal!! I tried many plans, pills, and crazy diets, then I found Weight Watchers and have been a member for almost 1 year. I vowed to myself that this would be it for me, no going back and forth or quitting when things got difficult!
  • Hey there ladies... I just ordered my at home kit today and am anxious to start...so I was wondering if anyone knows and can share the new formula to find out how many daily points i will be able to eat each day as I know it is different then the old formula... • Thanks Kimberly.. its just I have gained and have not updated my ticker yet.. would you be able to give me an rough estimate with my weight being 213.2? lol
  • if you signed up don't they tell you what your points are on line and at a center?
  • No, I just bought the kit from a weight watchers rep on Ebay... and I know once I get it I will be able to figure it out.. but I guess I am just being impatient and wanting to start now...lol
  • oh. what was in the kit?
you realy have to read the questions. We got asked at the meeting and you really need that. It will surely be at least 29. That is the minium so you can start there but you can't start without the point plus calculations. It's not the same point system you may have already access to.

have you been a member before?
