  • hello my name is lisa marie i currently weigh 258 i started out 275 back in may and these last few months have been difficult i have also been gain /loose etc .. i am starting over today and i will be taking this one week at a time .. i dont eat that much now ( just the wrong foods) so i will probaly go 1500 cals a day ... wish me luck

    Well..besides my Halloweeny fest last week...I did fantastic! Don't know weight..TOM arrived and put a damper on my life..so I will be reporting my weight on Friday.

    I am up for another week challenge. Who's with me?

    Well..it started for me today..lol I have had a really good day so far. Even the bowl of candy behind me isn't screaming my name. or at least am no longer listening to it. lol

  • welcome Lisa Marie! You have done well so far, even if you have had a struggle lately. I think you should visit us here as much as possible-it truly helps keep you in line (it does for me anyway!)

    Jenniffer-thanks I WISH I was your weight but I know if I keep on plugging along I will be there *but of course you will be 20-30 pounds less too* didnt you say a little while ago that you were taking a cruise next year? I am too! It looks like June. This past June was Bermuda, next year is Bahamas baby! Where is yours going? have you been to the Bahamas before? (I think I remember you telling me you've cruised before). I am so psyched cause they have them from Norfolk now instead of flying to Miami. It makes it much more convenient for us.

    Slimdown and everyone-Your seven day challenge starts whenever you want it to. All you have to do is commit yourself and say "for one week I will stick to my eating plan". It worked for me b/c I didnt want to say I couldnt even do right for a measly week!

    didnt weigh in today. I decided not to be too mental with the scale. maybe this wont last long-usually I weigh myself EVERY day!

  • Yes...I love cruises! I've been to Bermuda, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Antigua, St Croix, St Maartin.....FUN FUN FUN!
    It's been 2 years since my last cruise....I want to hit Mexico I think. Trying to go this spring/summer too!

    And I want to wear a bathing suit and flirt with the cabana boy!!!!

  • omg i cant belive this (ok well i can) i just say here at the puter and ate not one not 2 but 8 pices of halloween candy ... well i fell but i did not get hurt so i back on my horse again ...lol just felt like i needed to post this ... i spent the day cleaning and rearranging my nephews room maybe thats why i needed that candy ........ i know excuses excuses
  • hello all! how are the seven day challenges going for everyone?
    I am on day 5 of my second week. I can hardly believe I have stuck to this for so long! I weighed in yesterday and was 247.5 (another half pound lost) Looking at my calender where I record my weigh ins, I was 252.5 just two weeks ago! 5 pounds gone in two weeks!! Its amazing what you can do if you put your mind to it!

    Lisa Marie-Glad you stopped yourself before you ate a ton of candy!!

    Jenniffer-I want to be you when I grow up! I have always had this huge desire to travel and "see the world" Not enough to join the Navy though! Mexico is beautiful I hear. This really gives us some inspiration! I didnt look so bad in the pictures from this cruise but look out next year!

    babyboo..Throw out the candy! Halloween is over..even the kids don't need it. May be the only way you'll surive it! lol

    I am still holding strong. Today is my 3rd day of the 2nd week and am still on!! WOOHOO! I best be seeing a los this week!

  • im back on track.. been doing allot of work around the house so that keeps me from eating any more "candy"
  • Lisa Marie-I am glad you are back on track!! Stay away from the candy!! You can do it!! You are stronger than the chocolate!

    Jenniffer-Oh what can I say?? I am in the same boat you are! I blew it a few days ago after doing well for two weeks. It's like I can only stay on for so long before I lose it. Once I do I am off program for a few days!! I have got to stop this! Well today is a new day and I hope to make this day one on a new one week challenge.

  • I did well yesterday and today! I actually did well two days in a row by staying on program with food and exercising two days in a row. I never exercise so this is getting scary!!
