  • Hi Everyone

Cottage, I must look up that WW Zucchini Bread, although I may not have much zucchini right now. I ran a big load this last week. We have a potluck after church and it would be fun to take.

Ruth, I hope you get some rest before your vacation.

Cyndi, when you used to talk of driving home I would always keep my fingers crossed. now I can see you cruising in your sporty car playing Indigo Girls...or something good. Safe travels.

    I need to get going;
    1.Coffee
    2.Pick up house
    3. Bake and make salad for potluck
    4. Church
    5. Whatever I feel like

    Have a great day everyone!

ETA Hi Karen, missed you on the crosspost!
  • The WW Zuke bread is divine, I used to make that a lot before I came down with Celiac Disease.

Just had a nice breakfast, but I have to go grocery shopping before snack time hits, LOL! Then off to ride my horse since it is absolutely glorious outside! Have a wonderful day everyone!
  • Hello ladies!

I'm not sure if I'm sad or relieved, but my vacations are all behind me now. No more major travels for me and I need to be back at school bright and early in the morning. I've had a wonderful summer, but to tell you the truth I do much better maintaining when I've got a regular schedule to live by. So, it's phase 1 for a few days to get my eating back on track and I'll dust off the wii fit this afternoon and get back to doing the strength training exercises every day again.

It's cold and rainy here today, a good day for snuggling up on the couch with the pup, but I've got so much to do that I'm not if I'll get any couch time in.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
  • Weighed in this morning after week three: no gain (surprise)! I felt like I would, since I know I overdid the carbs coming off of Phase I. However, DS and his girlfriend are here and he of course he didn't request anything very SB-friendly for dinner. I'm going to make a huge pot of green beans though and hope that will see me through. I'll also try my other trick of drinking a glass of tomato juice before I sit down to dinner (it fills me up and helps me slip in another vegetable serving).

Tomorrow I'll go back to Phase I for a week. I really want to lose 2 lbs a week. Oh yeah . . . I suppose exercise would help. :-P That's on my list too.

Hope everyone's having a lovely zucchini-bread weekend! (YUM.)
