  • So I have a question for all you side sleepers who can feel their hipbones. How do you deal with it? I mean, I haven't had this problem in so long and now I have such a hard time finding a comfortable position on my side to sleep. I've considered getting a foam pad. Do they work? Any other tricks. Let me know...
  • Ugh, TELL me about it!

My hipbones aren't too much of a problem while I'm sleeping (although I tried to study while laying on the carpet floor on my tummy...yea, not happening), but just about everything else is!

I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs otherwise my knees knock together. My butt kiiiilllllls trying to sit through classes on those hard classroom chairs. And suddenly, running into doorframes and such hurts a lot more.

I do not want to be plump again, but I may consider taping bubble wrap all over my body, haha.
  • I've been noticing this a lot here recently myself. My butt is actually pretty bony and long car rides now kill me. I have also been getting bruises on my hipbones because I am used to bouncing back, and well that doesn't happen any more. I like your bubble wrap idea mkendrick.
  • I've recently been able to feel more bones in my body. My collar bone is just peeking out, my knees are knobbier, and my hipbones can be felt real easy when I lie down. Now I can't lie on my stomach with my cell in my pocket because it jabs my hipbones. Ouch, but good.

Also, like mckendrik said, a pillow between my knees is a must. They knock into each other and my shins and give me bruises sometimes. Also, they don't lie as comfortably now that they're smaller... I used to have my own natural pillow there, I guess. Lol!

It's great to be feeling bones, though!
