Good work all you challengees. Especially the stop-smokers. That must be really tough and especially whilst you're trying to diet too.
I haven't smoked before but i understand rochesters comment just from trying to wean myself off having a piece of chocolate after my dinner at night!! I found some sort of substitution best (in my case a cup of mint tea instead of the choc).

But obviously it's a lot harder when there's that addictive factor in there too. Good luck to you all. You can do it. Think how good you'll feel by end of July...It's great that there's 3 of you doing it for a bit of moral support.
My plan isn't going great. I've had a lower leg strain so decided to stop running for a few days (and have been doing spin classes at the gym instead). Today though i gave it another go and had about 30min run and i seem ok again so all is good, but i still think i need to ramp up the distance slowly if i can! (The temptation is to do too much too soon with these things as i've learnt the hard way many times before!!)
I know so many people who love that C25K program though so good luck with it love2b150, keep us updated on how it's going, and good suggestion Dee.
Also my diet isn't going very well and i haven't dared to get on the scales again for a few days. I feel a bit flabby but on the other hand my clothes seem looser. Hmmmm. Whatever - i need to buckle down and cut out fatty sugary stuff.
