  • Go joannie! That's amazing!

I've lost 46lbs. total or an elementary-school aged kid.
  • Since having my twins I have lost 34lbs, which is as much as this twin stroller!

And in the two weeks since I started my diet I have lost 9lbs, which is as much as one of my twin girls!

  • Awesome, the baby elephant owns this thread!
  • CurlyWurly, AHHHHHHHHHHH adorable babies!
  • That's so cool!

That's also weird because I saw something similar to this thread the other day. Must have been on another site. Anyway, I have lost about 60 lbs. over the past year and found a whole blog entry online where a woman had photos of things that weighed 60 lbs because she had lost the same amount. So, I've lost the same amount as a panda I think (along with some other things I don't remember at the moment). I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link, but I found it interesting. They actually had a picture of a 60 pound hamburger on the site!

  • I have lost a 20lb bag of Rice!
  • I have lost as much as this big fish! A 71-pound halibut!
  • Hahaha, awesome thread!

I've lost as much as this potbellied pig! (35lbs)
  • This thread is so funny!!

    I've lost an overweight cat!
  • I've lost my son (22 lbs) plus 5 lbs!!

  • Quote: I'm within a couple of pounds of losing my 5 year old son!! lol!

I marvel every time I pick him up that I was carrying around all that extra weight - I would have a very tough time carrying him up or downstairs anymore, yet I was carrying myself with all that excess. and I still have another 1.5 of him to go, after I lose the first one!

That's exactly what I was going to say! I can't lift my child anymore because of my back but I have lost his weight. I can't imagine that I used to carry that much around with me.

    Great thread idea
  • I've lost this girl, lol. 86 pounds.

  • I lost a 6 lb. pot roast.
  • I've lost 14 pounds, as much as this English Mastiff puppy named Leo!

  • I've lost Leo's larger brother...18lbs. I always talk about how difficult it is to carry around 2 large bags of dog food, which is similar to what I need to lose. I saw Valerie Bertinelli on a commercial the other day with 4 10-lb. sacks of potatoes tied to her. And when we were biking the other day, Robert said to imagine that I was losing potatoes along the way. More like a kibble at a time, but even those tiny pieces of dog food sure add up!
