  • Goodwill up here in the Northwest has a contract with Target, so they get most of their post season goods.

They also have the half off a certain color tag days, and I've been allowing myself to browse the smaller size racks, looking or those tags. If it's half off, and super cute, I buy it as a splurge and an incentive to get smaller. It all adds up to less than $5 a trip and I've hung them up in my closet in order of sizing where I can see them every day.
I've not been below a size 16/18 for about 5 years now, I didn't have any smaller clothes in my closet. I'm looking forward to trying them on and watching the progress.

This is exactly what I do, down to the half-off tags. It's also a fun way to try types and styles of clothing: my body is such a different shape now that all my old ideas about what was flattering have really been invalidated. When clothing costs a dollar or two, I don't mind taking a risk that it won't work once I get it home and put it with something.
