Linda, good luck with your shopping! I've found Trader Joe's to be much less crowded in the middle of a weekday.
Cyndi, congrats on the great visit with the doctor! I hope you find a comfortable maintainable weight and the stress is off.
Ruth, hope it's a quick fix at the computer shop! I think electronics give up far too soon. Tom keeps telling me we need new stuff and I tell him we just got our old stuff and he tells me that that's how it goes. I think he just wants the newest stuff, to tell you the truth. But sometimes our things really are broken.
Karen, don't envy me too much. The "shoe room" is technically supposed to be a fourth bedroom. However, it has a door to the garage, is tiled, and is barely big enough to have a twin bed and two dressers. I don't know how it could really be a bedroom! I also would love to have a real mud room! We have all these plans for when we get our "real house" (read: when Tom retires and we stop moving all the time

).
Tammy, did you really put blueberries in your eggs???
Michelle, one time when we were in Korea we forgot to get our oil refilled and it ran out in the middle of the Korean Thanksgiving, which is five days long. It was SO cold in our house and we had no hot water. We showered at the gym.

You'd think we'd have learned our lesson, but we let it run out again, over New Years this time. Three days with no heat that time.
Debbie, enjoy Avatar! Tom went with my dad and brother and they all loved it.
Tammie, great job staying on plan!!! You know, part of the reason I started this decluttering business is because it felt like time for a move. I don't know what I'm going to do when Tom retires in four years!
Schmoodle, glad you made it home safely! Good luck with the extra project!
I am so very excited because I finished the shoe room! I got three bags of old shoes to yard sale and several coats as well. We're going to have quite a sale this spring! I organized the coat closets and got all the kids' sports stuff into a plastic container so it doesn't fall all over the floor every time the closet is opened. I also deep cleaned the fridge - yuck. I hate that job. Now from my front door to my living room door (entry, laundry room, powder room, and shoe room) is decluttered and deep cleaned. That's not much, but I am very happy.
Connor is doing his violin lesson and the girls are hungry so I'd better get downstairs.
