  • Quote: Hello! today is day one for me on the sfl cookie diet. my sister emailed me the think to this blog. I found it very helpful especially because I cant stop thinking about food. I just bought the cookies online so I do not know what I can eat for dinner. Any help? Thanks!!
I can't link yet! If you go to smartforlife dot com and then go to ebooks there is a frozen dinner list to pick from.

It takes a while to load. I attended the phone support group meeting a while ago. We talked about dinner and she recommended the frozen bags of shrimp, fish and chicken breasts. She was so helpful I really recommend going if you have the time.
  • I just wanted to point out the Dr. S cookies are on sale at the Walgreens website for 49.99 a box.

I was also wondering if anyone was interested in trading bags? I wanted to try the banana, coconut, and blueberry but dont want to buy a whole box only to find out I dont like them.
  • Hey all! I'm four weeks out of knee surgery, and GLAD to see this group is still around. I've learned don't try to diet while recovering from major surgery, it just doesn't work. However, I'm back on the cookies, didn't gain any weight while recovering, and have lost four pounds since then! REALLY glad to be back at work where I can create structure for myself.

Still can't exercise much (ten min/day on the bike) so trying to be good and not binge and stay with my weights. Still waiting impatiently to get below 200 lbs, six lbs to go. The six pounds feel like six tons.

Weight loss seems so much harder once you're older. Ugh. (sorry for the randomness of the post)
  • OH!!!!! I'm soooooooo happy to find you!!!! I just got my rd cookies (cranberry) today and I can't wait to start them. But... the insert said to start first thing in the morning so I'm waiting. Thanks for all the great tips I found on here!
  • Hey ladies, I know it's been a while since I've posted. A lot has been going on in my life and the diet has kind of taken a back burner. As of yesterday though I decided I needed to get back on this journey I began because I'm determined to better myself. I'm holding steady at about 210 and need to keep working on my loss. My distractions started when I met my new boyfriend. *Sigh* Then my mom came to visit and I had to take her to some of my favorite restaurants. I know that I'm making excuses for my lack of will power but I am not back on track w/ my weight loss. I will not allow others around me to detour or distract me from my goal. Cheers!

Glad to see you're back at it as well Shiny!! What kind of surgery did you have if you don't mind me asking?

My lowest before my relapse was 207 and it seemed to not want to go any lower than that!! I'm determined as well to break out of the 200's!
