Maggie: I haven't been going to WW because these meds keep putting on lbs. I can't see paying money just to see the scale go the wrong direction when I know I am eating properly. I hope that February is grand weight loss month for you. I will be glad when they sort me out and then I can get back on track. I had problems , a lot of problems last night and didn't get any sleep until after one then up at 5 so I am pooped today. Hope RM and hubby are doing well. Oh, if I didn't tell you, I picked up the cookbooks and they are terrific. They have some great recipes in them.
Jean: Hope you day out getting spruced up for your trip turns out well. I think I would have to start at 1 minute a session!
For one thing, I am taking meds that specifically tell you to stay out of the sun, but I am also so fair that I burn just thinking about it. I know one thing, we book the cruise and I plan on buying a giant economy size bottle of sunscreen!Susan: What a nice thing for your neighbor to do. We have a couple really nice neighbors too. One night a couple weeks ago, someone comes to the back door and knocks and it is the neighbor across the street. He said he knew we didn't ever leave our garage door up and it had been up for a long time. I guess, though we shut it, something got in front of the sensor and stopped it and we didn't notice it before coming inside.
I guess I better get going gals. Fortune is barking to be let out. Have a grand Tuesday! Faye

I WAS a California girl having fun in the sun.

I know you are so glad you are losing. I have a crockpot lowfat cook book and some recipes are good and a lot not so much. Fortune is funny that way too. He knows the sound of the crinkling of chip bags. If Jack gets up and makes himself a ff chip snack, Fortune's ears perk up when he hears him get the bag out of the pantry they he zooms out to the kitchen and then follows Jack into the living room to wait for some. It is hilarious to watch.
A wintry mix is predicted for tomorrow so I'm hoping we can leave town and beat it going south.

I hope you feel better as your day goes along. Ernie knows which cupboard his treats are in and anytime that cupboard door opens he is right there.
He likes potato chips but prefers to have me hold the chip so he can lick the salt off. When it gets gooey then he'll take a bite. He is a weird cat! I know you will have a wonderful time on your 'Thomas weekend.'
Congrats on the 4.4#s that are gone forever!
I remember the "fun in the sun" days even though I had my fun in Iowa. When I graduated from high school I weighed 117#s. I didn't gain the freshman 15 but started putting the weight on after Jason was born. Oh how I wish I would have worked on taking the pounds off back then!

Iowa!
Congrats on the weight loss. It all adds up. 4.4 is over a pound a week and that was good for January. I'm going to look for that cookbook at my meeting this week. I love my slow cooker.
