  • When im marathon training i wake up at 3AM to get my run in.... sounds crazy, i know. It means im in bed by 8 pm though. It also means i get the world to myself when i start my run at 4 am. i have to be at work by 7 30...outta the house by 6 30 to get my daughter to daycare....Means i have to have my run done by 5 30 at the latest. i have to run while my BF and 9 year old daughter are still sleeping. Its the only time that works for me. You do what you have to do.... No excuses, if you want it bad enough...... This also means i dont eat before i run, else id be ready for lunch by 8 or 9 am!! i will take in some protein afterwards, if i strength trained, or had a high intensity run
  • I used to work out before work and I'd get to the gym at 5:30. I always ate a banana before and had some water but that's it.

I'm joining a gym today and since it's a 24 hour gym I'm thinking of going early in the morning but I have to leave my house by 6:45 am to get my son to the sitter and then get to work on time so that would mean I'd have to get up at 4:30 to get in a good workout! Yikes!
  • Today was Day 2 for me. Honestly, I love it. I still hit the snooze & I have to stop that. But, I love that the gym is quiet and almost empty. Usually, right after work it's full of the "socialites" who visit or talk on their cell phones non-stop.

I know they have some 5:30 am Spin classes so I'll try to get to one of those, plus I want to start swimming.

It's been great to know at the end of the day that I can just go home rather. I also don't have to drag all my workout clothes to work everyday.
