  • It was actually really good! It filled me up for ages too.

    A satsuma is basically a small mandarin orange.

    Here in the office we get free fruit and it was satsumas on the menu today!

  • Ahh right, good good - heres my 10/27/2009

    Breakfast - 1/2 cup oatmeal with natural peanut butter + 1 banana
    Snack AM - 1 boiled egg + 1 yoghurt
    Lunch - Slim-Fast Optima French Vanilla Meal Shake + salad with mixed greens (spinach and boston lettuce), tomato and light cheddar cheese
    Snack PM - 4 whole wheat melba toasts + 2 light laughing cow cheese wedges
    Dinner - 8oz chicken breast with portugese marinade + salad with mixed greens, green peppers and red onion

    Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 diet pepsi with dinner
    Exercise: Zumba 1 hour + 30 - 45 min walk with the dog (pending the rain)
  • Here's my 27/10/2009 :

    Breakfast - Bowl oatmeal with raisins and sultanas, teaspoon of honey
    Lunch - Lunchbox of boiled zucchini with balsamic vinegar, 1 satsuma
    Dinner - Fillet of mackerel in olive oil, side salad of rucola and tomato

    Snacking on fruit during the day, apple, banana, raisin

    As I'm home several hours after dinner I might be hungry so I'll have a bowl of oatmeal.

    Drinking - Green tea and water throughout the day

    Breakfast - Slim-Fast Optima Chocolatey Royale Meal Shake
    Snack AM - 1oz almonds + 1 small pear
    Lunch - Salad with spinach, romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion and small amount of goat cheese feta + 1/2 whole wheat pita with spicy hummus
    Snack PM - Kashi Granola Bar
    Dinner - Chicken with Korean BBQ marinade + Spinach salad with feta and red onions

    Drinking - 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 diet pepsi with dinner
    Exercise: 35 - 40 min walk with dog (again pending the rain)

    L: Large greek salad (Tomato lettuce cucumber onion and feta) with Olive oil
    D: Bowl oatmeal with raisins, currants, tsp of honey
    S: Apple, satsuma

    Hoping not to get hungry later although hopefully I'll manage an early night

    Exercise - Yoga - 1 hour + 30 - 45 mins walk with the dog (pending the rain)

    Here's my menu for today:

    Breakfast : Slim fast shake
    Snack: 10 Almonds
    Lunch: 1 Cup leftover pasta w/homemade clam sauce, v8. few crackers/salmon mixed w/lf mayo and onion
    Snack: apple, laughin cow cheese
    Dinner: Lf turkey pasta from Costco.

    Lunch - Stir-Fry with light terriyaki marinade, shrimp, squid, whole wheat noddles, cabbage, carrots and peppers (red and green)
    Snack PM - Kashi Granola Bar
    Dinner - Chilli with crackers + salad with spinach, romaine lettuce, tomato and feta.

    Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 diet pepsi with dinner
    Exercise: 30 - 45 mn brisk walk with dog

    Dinner - 1/2 whole wheat pita with Falafel, romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, feta and tzatziki

    Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 diet pepsi with dinner
    Exercise: 1 hour Zumba + 30 - 45 min brisk walk with dog

    Dinner - Stir-Fry of chicken, shredded broccolli, cabbage, carrot and green peppers + small amount of brown rice

    Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 diet pepsi with dinner
    Exercise: Gym 30 mins on the elliptical and 30 mins weights + 30 - 45 min walk with dog

    Drinking: 1 morning coffee + 2L water throughout the day + 1 diet pepsi with dinner
    Exercise: 30 - 45 min walk with the dog
