  • So, I should work out in the early mornings, more often! It's not even 9am, and I've already gotten 2 servings of fruit in, and 7 glasses of water!
  • Kayley - have any veggies found their way to your plate today?
  • I am proud to say I have had 6 serving of veggies and one of fruit today. I also walked over a mile today.
  • I'm also a proud member of the veggie and fruit club today.

    Tomorrow's challenge

    DO SOMETHING NICE FOR YOURSELF!
  • Carol - Well, according to the goverment's website, for my age & activity level, I need 3 cups of veggies & 2 cups of fruit each day.

So far, I've gotten in 2.5 cups of veggies, and 1.5 cups of fruit. Hopefully, I can squeeze in some more before bed!

And I definitely LOVE tomorrow's challenge! I know just what I'm going to do.
  • Well, I spoke too soon! I went ahead and made a turkey burger for dinner (super delicious), and put a half cup of lettuce on the sandwich, to get my full servings of veggies! And then I had a small side of fruit with it, so voila!

    Day 2/2 met! Yay!

Hope you are all having similar success! It's so hard for me to get my full servings in...fruit, I have no problem, but I'm super picky with veggies!
  • Ladies, ladies, and ladies,

I made it, I made it, all fruits and veggies present accounted for. Thank you Lord for the chocked filled Veggie Pizza I made today for the first time, I must say, and it was ding dang good!!!!! So...... I made it.

Oh yeah, tomorrow's challenge will be the bomb, thanks for this one Carol!!!!!

    Love ya,
    Hugs, love, and blessings,
    Ags
  • That's great, Ags! Your own recipe, or one you found? Would love to see it! I'm always looking for yummy new recipes to try.
  • Good morning, lovely ladies. I must say, I'm quite excited to do something nice for myself later on today.
  • Kayley - can't wait to hear what we all did for ourselves today!
  • Im not sure what I am going to do for myself today..got a few hours to think about it.
Proud to say the scales are creeping downward. I am back in the teens..so thankful to be out of the 20s. I am going to try super hard and never gain back some of what I have lost again. It sure seems to take longer to get it back off.
Kaley- great job getting your veggies in. Veggies are easy for me most of the time.
color - your pizza sounds yummy
    carol- good challenge for today.
  • Dgramie - That's just excellent! I agree. Once you lose, then gain it back, it takes about FOREVER for it to come back off again. I'm still working on losing the 30 lbs I gained from my original start weight, and I've got about 80-ish pounds before I'll see numbers I haven't seen in 8-9 years. One day at a time, right?
  • one perfectly on plan day at a time!
  • dgramie - AWESOME! You can totally do this and keep that weight off!

Kaylestar - You are doing amazing. You can do this for sure! It is awesome the progress you are making.

Today I'm going to take some "me" time and also go buy myself a neat planner I've had my eye on at Barnes and Noble for 2010. I figure something simple and inspirational. I love going to that store, just love looking at all the books.
  • Hey ladies, I'm a little late but I'd like to join you if I may. That "Can I walk for 30 minutes a day?" question really got me. I can, but I haven't been, and what a mistake.
