Shoulder deteriorated rapidly yesterday, and I ended up giving in and going to urgent care at 6. Waited there for an hour, got sent for x-rays, waited for 2 hours (ugh), apparently she not only did them wrong (apparently there was a way to get the same shots WITHOUT making me lie on top of the giant shoulder bruise and pushing me around into different angles), but she didn't even get the angle the doctor requested. AND by the time I was done, all the pharmacies were closed, so I spent the night trying to take enough Advil to be able to sleep (apparently, there IS no dosage of advil big enough to make my shoulder not hurt, especially after it was pummelled by the xray lady).
Went back this morning (now totally stiff and with no ability to move my arm into particular positions) to get the necessary x-ray, and was helped by a lovely friendly lady who told me that there was no need to have me lay on my shoulder AT ALL and was sort of appalled that they did it. And by then the pharmacies were open so I could get pain meds. So today is better (except that whole unable to move arm into certain spots thing). I'll know whether I broke my shoulder blade by this afternoon.
So, with all that said, I'm barely allowed to move, much less exercise, until we know I'm not broken. So today I'll be skipping it
B - Greek yogurt w/ strawberries, 2 tbsp lowfat granola
L - Leftover chicken and veggie stirfry, brown and wild rice
S - Honeydew Melon
D - Lean pork chops cooked in that tomato/balsamic/veggie sauce I posted for the pork loin recipe earlier, polenta, green beans
S - NSA Ice Cream Bar
