  • Good ideas ladies.

I need help! I just started dating a guy about a month ago - it's going awesome, it's long distance so we spend the weekends together. Do I get him something? Do I just have dinner.... Do I even suggest anything? Hmmmm
  • Quote: A nice watch

I don't know how superstitious you are, but my boyfriend refuses to buy me shoes [much to my dismay] and says he'll never buy me a watch. He says if you buy your significant other a watch then your time together will be limited [short]. If you buy your significant other a pair of shoes, they'll be the shoes they walk away from you in.

My bf and I don't celebrate V-Day but I was still thinking about buying him something anyway. I think I may buy him a sterling silver ring. Anyone have any good websites/suggestions as to where I could get him one?!
  • I plan on combining the present for VDay and our 2nd anniversary and getting him Slipknot concert tickets.

We have to travel five hours to go but it'll be well worth it. If I can manage it he'll probably pee his pants with excitement.
  • Yikes this reminds me two weeks lol. I am getting boudoir pics taken for my hubby on Feb 8th. I have been workingout like crazy, eating right and buying cute litle outfits lol. I need to be smokin hot by then!

haha, I've heard that before! But since I'm buying him a really nice one, maybe that can mean our relationship will last a really long time, like the watch! haha. I'm just making stuff up.

Slipknot has by far been one of the craziest concerts I've ever been to. I saw them on the side stage at Ozzfest... thank goodness I had 2 guys with me. The pit broke out literally a foot and a half in front of me and they both jumped in front of me so I wouldn't get pulled in. You guys are going to have a BLAST!
  • yeah my anniversary is the 10th, so we will probably go out to a nice dinner to clebrate both or something fun like that.
  • My man is getting 2 nights in a jacuzzi room, uninterrupted with a ridiculous amount of alcohol, BW3 (his fav), and me in some sexy lingerie..... for the first time ever. RAWR!!!!! I guarantee he will have a smile on his face for weeks to come.

(Wow, that sounds a little conceded. Sorry! )
  • I don't know if I am going to do anything. My Husband and I stopped buying each other presents for V-day years ago. This year because we got married and bought a house we didn't buy anything for each other for Christmas we just used the money to buy cool stuff for the house.

Actually we are both busy v-day and might not celebrate. Although I feel like maybe another night I will make him a nice dinner and give him a massage.

We kind of transformed into hippies a few years ago in the sense that we don't really believe in buying each other expensive presents like diamonds (which I don't believe in getting either lol.. I'll save that rant for later) or flowers and I definately don't need any chocolate.

So what I am saying is time, I will set aside a special night and give time to the one I love.
  • Got the tickets!

I was able to get tickets this morning and he's totally excited. We're too old to get in the pit these days. I have issues being jammed that close in with people; I tend to start to hyperventilate and it's all downhill from there.

Fifteen years ago my husband so would've been in the middle of the action but he's turning 37 this year and had knee surgery last year... The pit is a no go. But we'll have such a great time anyway.
  • I love Etsy.com. My friend bought me two necklaces off there for Christmas and I adore them!

But I'm taking him out and buying him Flyer's shoes. Last year he got Pittsburgh Penguins since there were no such thing as Flyer's shoes...But this year they came out with a create-your-own team shoe and you can customize the colors the way you like and add their initials, etc.
  • I'm sending mine for a day at the spa especially for men Heres the decription:

    Sportsman Package for Men
Dedicated especially for a man’s needs, this package is sure to soothe and revive your whole body. You will be treated to a Gentleman’s Foot-Soother Pedicure, plus our popular Men’s Exclusive facial and your choice of a 50-minute Swedish or Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular massage.
  • ^ a manspa! lol sounds good, why not?

I have no clue. Neither of us need anything, really, although I guess it'd be nice to do something. For no reason, I bought a heartshaped mug (yes, its impractical) last year.
  • My partner is a florist, so I never do anything on the actual day of V-day...well, usually I end up delivering flowers all day.

The weekend after, we're going to a hotel in Sonoma for wine tasting, spa appointments, and a cooking class.
  • My boyfriend is a huge Yankee fan so since they are coming to play the marlins the tickets are super hard to find. So i got us 6game tickets!! So we get to go to 6 games that always land on a special day for us!! So i want to get him a new Yankee shirt but i dont know how to wrap it. Also got him a huge card and toy handcuffs and adult dice
