    How is everyone today?
  • I want to cheat. I'm so tired, my head has been hurting for 4 days. I went to Bible Study & we had little snacks & I ate some but left a lot on my plate. I just want to lay in bed all day. I think I should lay down for a while & get some energy built before I try exercising - if I do it now, I will be in a pissy mood & probably cry. OH DUH! I just started my period an hour ago...no wondered I feel wretched.

    Uh, ok. Now I get it. Help!

    Dont feel bad I feel the same way today. And Aunt Flo came to visit me too!
  • Me too!! I have done pretty much nothing all day long except ride the stationary bike downstairs while watching "The City" because we had a snow day from school. Even so, I'm exhausted and just want to lay down and do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day. Stupid TOM!

    I haven't worked out today and I don't know if I will get anything in more than a brisk walk with my son later. My headache is really bad today.
  • It's going pretty good here! I stepped on the scale after breakfast this morning (when I usually weigh first thing in the a.m. with an empty belly) and I was at 176! I weighed in at 181 this weekend, and it's even TOM today. Please let this be real!


    Monday- 26 pts, 30 mins intense cardio, 80 oz. water, 5 f/v
    Tuesday- 26 pts, 30 mins walking, 80 oz. water, 6 f/v
    Wednesday- 24 pts, 30 mins intense cardio, 96 oz. water, 5 f/v
    Thursday-
    Friday-

    Goals:
    24 WW points (< 28 if I work out)
    Gym 4x this week (at least 30 mins cardio)
    At least 64 oz. water a day
    At least 5 fruits/veggies a day
  • Finished Day 10 of Level 3 in the 30DS...wooooooo!!!! That made me feel better about myself. My husband just brought me some McD's & after it has digested I'm gonna get on the elliptical. Took some excedrin & I'm feeling much better.
  • This year I've decided to become at least a vegetarian and work towards being a vegan I picked up the Eat to live book and today was the first day eating the high fiber, tons of veggies, beans and fruits and its been crazy. I feel so full from the ridiculous amount of salad and beans I ate, had a difficult time meeting my calorie goal b/c the food is not that calorie dense. On the plus side I feel energized and that was one of my main concerns, as far as how my exercise would be affected. So overall good day.
  • made some chicken caccitore for dinner tonight. It was so yummy! I subbed chicken stock for the wine and I used ronzoni smart taste spaghetti (only one serving each) and we split one 8 oz chicken breast. It was taaaaaaaasty!

    I managed to get in some exercise today. thank goodness.
  • Ok girls i need that "its just water weight and it'll come off in no time" pep talk because I weighed last wed and was 169 and today I weighed 178?! WTF? 9 pounds in one week? I've been seriously back OP (I was really busy and unorganized for the last 3 weeks and was just trying to maintain) since friday. I have been drinking water uncontrollably since Monday and usually i pee a lot but I'm hardly peeing at all and I don't understand what is going on. Anyway.. I'm down about that and the fact that I went to the gym in my building for the first time tonight and every girl in there weighs 94 pounds. I felt like a whale. On a good note I updated my progess on page 1.

  • It's water weight, girl! Don't let it get to you. Just do what you can, and weigh yourself in a week. Don't even sweat it.

    I gave into my temptations and I'm still good on calories. I did the shred & 60 mins on the elliptical, so I might have a couple cookies. A girls gotta do what she needs to do on her period. =)

  • I just ate 2 donuts & I don't feel bad at all!!! Periods suck! But I have been craving them, so I had some. I'm gonna do the Shred & the elliptical so I'm sure it won't matter that much to have a couple donuts. Hope you all are having a good Thursday!
  • I feel good today sisterchicks! I did the shred today! my first shot at level 2! I had to pause a couple of times because my son WAS awake so I would have to check on him every now and then. I think that helped me from pushing myself to the point of blackout thanks to my headache. Had a 4 egg white omelette with peppers and onions for lunch and followed it with the yogurt and banana I've been promising myself I'd have every day. TOM is planning on leaving town so I feel really good today. I didn't take anything out of the freezer for dinner tonight (I buy lots of meat and portion it out in the freezer) because I want DH and I to walk the 2 miles to subway for dinner if he doesn't go for it, he's getting Lean Cuisine for dinner
