Going to try and go see Hancock- saw Journey 3D on Sunday

We were supposed to meet my SIL at the airport last night, but her flight out of Dallas was delayed until who knows when - the last time I heard, it was 11:30 p.m. too late for us!

Thankfully I dropped off the scones, bread and muffins yesterday afternoon....my MIL shouldn't have to cook breakfast this morning, which I'm sure she is happy about.

I have no idea what the plans are....I'm definitely a person who plans ahead...and SIL isn't...she just kind of does whatever/whenever....says that her kids have to take naps and whatnot and doesn't give a time that we'll be getting together....she doesn't take into consideration that I have a boy that needs to sleep once in awhile also, and getting him ready to go and driving all the way over there (about a half hour) takes a bit of time. I'm going to try to not let it get to me...but it's aggravating. Last time she was here, she told us noon...I had everything ready until she called and kept pushing it back. We finally got together at 3 that afternoon, and DS needed another nap!

I started a new knitting project last night...almost like a knitted quilt. I finished 2 squares in about an hour last night, but I think after I get the pattern down (it's really easy, just alternating colors a lot) it won't take long at all. I opted to make it in a bunch of bright colors - gender neutral and more fun!

Started Phase 1 again yesterday, so far, so good. Ate eggs and turkey bacon and v-8 for breakfast and I'm full (I feel bloated.) Had a lot of stress and drama this weekend over bf and ex-wife's custody thing, they got their custody, but evil MIL had it rescinded on a Sunday of all days! because she raised **** about her having temporary custody and how she wasn't given notice of hearing and blah blah blah blah blaaaaaah. Lawyer set the new court date for the 25th this month, and will give her a notice of hearing, but try to keep her from telling her BS lies in the courtroom. We've got a lot of witnesses built up.

You would think all of the drama would make me turn to crappy food... but we've hardly even been all that hungry recently, our stomachs have been flip flopped upside down after MIL ran up here with the deputies and an order saying the judge had rescinded their 50/50 custody order... plus I was already highly stressed when that vindictive evil [ ] called the deputies on Saturday to do a 'welfare check' on the daughter, since social services aren't open on the weekends. BF and ex wife have since launched a full investigation on her through social services, because the child has clearly been coached.

I'm having no problems following the diet right now... it's a whole lot easier when your stomach doesn't feel too great and you aren't all that interested in food. Although the food I ate yesterday was good. Ex wife tried to tell me she did the SBD and it didn't work for her at all, but I'm thinking, then why are you like, 110 lbs and you're pregnant?? Heh. That's okay, I still got up this morning and made my eggs, v8 and turkey bacon.

I just found out that the Wii that I ordered has been delivered to my doorstep. Today is Brian's 11th birthday. He is going to be so excited that it is here! I'm leaving the office soon to get it since I don't like it just sitting there where someone could steal it. I have an eye exam this afternoon close to the office so it is a pain I've got to drive home but it is so worth it.

On the downside, I still haven't gotten a reply from Robert on whether he is going to pick him up for his visit. I know it is inconceivable that he wouldn't when it's his birthday but on Monday he didn't know if he was going to have to work and he has cancelled every Wednesday visit since school got out. I guess I'll give him a chance to pick him up at day care and then I'll show up to see if he is there or if he got picked up.

I've got the Wii. I'm glad I came home as it rained a half hour after I got here. I wouldn't have wanted that to sit out in the rain. Robert did pick up Brian. I can't wait to get him in a half hour and show him the Wii.

My new eye doctor put me in multi-focal contacts. I can now see at all distances and even read without reading glasses. Yeah!!! And I can still sleep in them.

Schmoodle, no, Tommy doesn't believe in sunscreen. Apparently this is the worst burn he's had. I, being Irish, LAUGH at him! HA HA HA HA! He thinks THAT'S a sunburn???? Try having your right eye swollen shut and blisters all over the backs of your legs while on vacation because your family promised to flip you in 15 minutes and went to the water and forgot all about you until an hour later! My mom gave me her diuretic (I was 15) so I could get my eye open the next day.

I don't get the olive-skinned. You can still get skin cancer, whether you burn or not. But, he also still smokes and eats whatever he wants because it doesn't affect him on the outside. Eh. One day we'll all be healthy. Right?
