    I am not losing very quickly (1.2 lbs per week) and one of the reps here told me if I get my starches in before 3Pm then things will work better . It has helped me out.

    My body is going nuts too. I am up then down then up etc.Never once have I gone in and lost 2 times in a row.
  • So I ate a massive (for me) breakfast of 2 eggs, yogurt (1/2 amount) and oatmeal (1/2 starch), a smaller lunch and then a smaller dinner ( I was not really that hungry) I was done most of my food for the day by my weigh in at 6pm tonight and had drank all the recommended water.. I was down a lb! Here is hoping after the weekend, things will keep moving. I am sticking to the express with the odd thing out of free to live. Thanks for your help and suggestions everyone!

    I went into my COD today for the first time since last Friday (so, a full week) and I was down 3.6 ... I could not belive it! I have only been eating out of the Express menue all week... could be on to something ...
  • Wow! Chan that is awesome! Very happy for you! Although it is really difficult for me to stay on express now that I have had free to live. So I commend your will power!

    Believe me, I am not POP with the Express plan... but I try to stick to it as much as possible!
  • Consume infrequently means "stay the **** away from it" - or at least this is how I interpret it... I have a really hard time eating these foods as I am afraid that I will not lose what I should that week...
  • Chan.. that is awesome! I only am using free to live if I go out or end up at a friend's to eat. At home I am sticking to the express!
  • it is quite possible that you aren't getting ENOUGH food. when you don't eat enough/burn too many calories your body will hold onto what you do eat to store as fat. I would stick to weight training 3x a week and just 20min of cardio(your running) 4x a week
  • What about serving sizes on the express vs the free to live? I have 20lbs to lose and just curious.

    I am doing TO right now but starting the La express tomorrow after To is done. I am hoping this jumps starts my weight loss again as I have stalled the last couple of months.
    My question those on Express do you miss not having a little Pasta, Rice Etc when doing express?
    can someone help with ideas for starchs while on this plan?

  • I do miss it lots but would rather not have it and loose and bring it back in during the maintenance part. I use a bit of pita bread, crackers and starchy veggies whenever possible. Good luck tomorrow!
