An open letter to my body

  • Sorry everyone, I had an emergency with a friend and ended up spending the weekend in St. Louis without internet. And there's the run in with veggie pizza, which I refuse to feel guilty about.

I think that this is my first time dealing with a plateau. I've only been stuck here for two weeks, but this has never happened when I have been fully on plan. Eugh!

My only hope is that the pizza reminded my body of how bad I can be.

I am going to stick with this one more week, but then I'll try something else. I would really hate to cut out more calories since I work out just about every day but we'll see. The cutting down the off day is a good idea, Robin. Hopefully this week my body decided that it should get rid of the fat.

And for those that asked, the Marc Anthony line. Sad but true :le sigh:
  • Great, funny letter, Archy. I regularly go 2-4 weeks without a loss, and then there is a whoosh. But then, there are times that the scale will creep down little by little every week. It happens just enough to make me wonder if I will never lose weight again during one of my 2-4 week no loss periods. It's maddening.

I just came off of a 7 week plateau. I really wondered if it was over for me and I would be stuck forever at that weight.

Sometimes it's hard to see others lose quickly and steadily, but our bodies will do what they do.

I hope you see a loss soon.
  • I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL!!
