Rosebud - I get it now. ya go walking with the help of ski poles I need to try that! I'd like to buy snowshoes next winter -- for when it's warm.. we've got a huge snow covered field near my house (when I was really young the snow was too deep to walk through) but it would be a good work out with snowshoes and ski poles to keep me upright.
Purple I'm glad you were able to meet some of your peers and have a shared experience with other MSers. I remember what it's like to sit at the MS clinic and feel a bond with everyone in the waiting room -- it's also good to hear other people are finding relief with the oxygen tank.
I got my refill of drug this week but my pharmacy didnt have the reformulation yet.... which is frustrating because it's been out for over a month.. but I'm not suprised that the drug supplier is still clearing the 'old stuff' out... so it'll be another 2 months on this stuff... maybe by spring I'll get it

CR I hope you're doing well despite the tornados I heard about on the news in the south.

I received a notice from my MS clinic this week about joining something called 'telehealth' basically offering me the option of teleconferencing with my ms neurologist instead of driving 700+ kilometres one way. I think I'm going to take them up on the offer to save myself the grief -- but it depends how desperate I am to go on a trip 'to the city down south'.
Winterfest in my town is this weekend. There will be jigging competitions (part of Metis culture) as well as traditional survival competitions -- bannock baking, tea making, log throwing etc and some local artists will be making chain shaw carvings out of local logs. Last year I went but got sick from spending the day in -30 degree weather. I'm going this year but I'll be more careful.
Have a great weekend ladies

HELLO CHICKIES ~ We went into town today; and then the sun came out for us the whole time. Had a good time chatting with folks in town and picked up a few books too at the second-hand shop; nice place to meet lots of people. The only thing going on was the hockey game for the little guys today.
(that is what we say when we have taken too much to eat and can not eat it.) Not sure if that phrase has crossed the water.
DH and I have had 2 days watching our medical drama that we hare so far behind on I think we cleared about 7 or 8 1 hour programmes so we have made a good dint in them.
bye ladies and take care all
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY LADIES
ON THE 75 LBS! Glad you found the courage to settle that internal work problem; hope things will be better for you in the future. And maybe once your new manager gets familiar with his/her position, there will be less interference from outside sources. It's nice that everything went smoothly for your guests and things will be back to normal for you again.
