Hi everyone,
Wow, it took 2 days for my body to process the extreme fondue night. I do not feel guilty at all for overindulging on the fondue, but the price paid was on the high side. I felt sluggish yesterday, but still exercised anyway.
Today I'm doing fine. Tonight is a banquet dinner and I don't currently feel in the danger zone for managing it. I think I should be ok staying OP tonight.
I bought a few pairs of incentive pants this weekend at a clearance sale. I found 2 pairs of very nice size 20 pants, one at $5 and one at $20. I bought another pair in size 18 for $7. The size 20s still seem a ways off, and the 18s a pipe dream, but I thought that about the size I'm in now, and managed to get here, so I'm optimistic that I'll be wearing them before too long. No bets on when that will be.

Ammi, nice to see you back regularly and doing well OP. Your gazelle missed you. Congrats on the 5 lb. loss. You are on track and will see results.
About the client I have a crush on, he will not be a client forever. I keep wondering when our professional relationship will end, because he's done most of the work he came here to do. Actually he is one of my MAJOR success stories.
I don't know if he has any romantic feelings for me, but somehow I doubt it. He likes me, though, that is clear enough. We have a lot in common. But it's hard with the type of client/professional roles we've been in to equalize things and not get into some weird psychological territory. I'm willing to try hehehe once he's not a client, but as I said, I have no idea how he feels other than he seems to like me as a person.
Brandnew: I cannot wait to hear your good news. I am so happy that you are doing well with your eating.
Toofat: Good job. Get right back into exercise. We all slip up.
Moosegirl: Welcome. It is exciting to be near that very important threshold of 300#s. It was an important milestone for me.
Kayley: Bowling is fun! Enjoy today's exercise, too.
Catherine: You ARE a terrific neighbor. Mr. Chen is a lucky man, and I hope he has learned his lesson about the tea leaves.
Fitgirl: Sometimes avoiding the scale for a while is an ok coping technique. I've done it before, giving myself a chance to repair the damage of a bad eating period. As long as there is a plan to hop back on at some point, it can be helpful to not discourage yourself with the knowledge.
Annie: have a great day at work.
Nancy: Glad you're on the mend. You were smart not to push yourself too hard just yet.
Carol: Wow, you're handling the party circuit like a pro. Outstanding job in coming home and going to your yoga class.
Hi and hugs to everyone else.

And good for you for knowing your limit. I know that too many times I’ve pushed myself past my limit, and had to stop exercising for a week or so because of it! Bleh.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
instead of the exclamation point!!!!!!! Well, lets hope that's my "doink" for today. I allow myself one a day!

and some virtual chicken soup!!
...we are all doing "Great in 2008"!!! (See RK...I can rhyme too!!
