  • I’m still here promise!! Been a CRAZY week, ate like crazy, blew that challenge completely so I’m starting over there but did get a good walk in everyday plus some swimming :-) Staying pretty strong with the pop too, completed that challenge!! Missed you all hope everyone is well!
    Challenges:
    2000 Calorie limit – Day 16 – Level 3 (2 left)
    30 minutes of any kind of exercise – Day 10 – Level 3 (3 left)
    One pop a day limit - Day 22 - Level 3 (1 left)
  • Just wanted to drop by and say Hi to everyone. Happy to see you all with your challenges going strong. I promise I will come back, probably soon, but don't have the time right at the moment.

    Had a really stressful and rough time of it for a while and didn't do great on my food, but did keep going everyday with my exercise. I have just in the last couple of days gotten myself somewhat back on track with my eating.

    I'm thinking of some challenges to hopefully start next week!

  • I'm popping in to say hello! I don't know what my challenges are going to be yet, but I have to say I really like Red's feel hungry one. I hate to say it, but It's pretty darned impossible to lose weight if you don't feel a little hunger now and then.
    We are back from our vacation. It was nice to get away. We took lots of pictures and looking at them I realize that I REALLY need to lose some weight. I hate the way I look.Yuck, yuck, yuck. So hopefully something will click and I can get at least 10 pounds off. SOON.

    So glad to see dsjorney and Apple. Welcome back.

    Weekend was ok, but I did not do much. I think I somewhat failed on my challenges. Actually the water one was the worst.
    So I think I will just restart - today is day 1
    Yesterday
    Jul 22nd
    A. No Food min 2h before bed(level 2) - 6 days met

    Today
    Jul 23rd
    A. No Food min 2h before bed(level 2) - 7 days met, will write in tomorrow (edited on Tuesday)
    B. Daily Excercise (level 3) - 1 day met, worked out in the morning
    C. 4 bottles of water (level 2) - 1 day met, I am almost done already.[1/2 bottle left - finished gulp, gulp, gulp] (edited on Tuesday)

    By the way though I screwed up 2 challenges, this morning scale showed 4lb loss, but I only put down 2lp on a big grand ticker.

    Well, day 10 - daily posting and following workout plan, both challenges met, with 2 pauses left for each. Following menu challenge will be restarted tomorrow

    Did ok today…. Took a long time for me to get to the gym, once I’m there I work hard and long and it pays off but getting my behind motivated to get there is another story….

    Heh! I posted this morning. Now it's gone?!?! What the heck!?!? Will check at home tonight......

    Anyhow, here's where it stood at the start of Tuesday...

    1) No Alcohol -- Day 5 completed
    2) One Sugar a Day -- Day 4 completed
    3) Food Log -- Day 2 completed

    I think I need to add 1 more - Food Log...I think it will refresh my knowledge of what to eat.

  • Well, I haven't thought of any challenges. I have a fear of failure this time....But I really have to get it together too. Gulp.
    Well, no beer, 2 pauses and South Beach Phase 1, 2 pauses. Thing is, with SB you aren't supposed to take ANY pauses, especially during the first phase, so I'm going to try to make it 2 weeks with no pause. Oh, this all sounds so hard, but last time I tried it I lost 8 pounds, so if I stick it out I will be one happy

    Jolly, sorry to hear you are starting over. I'm looking forward to seeing what your new gig will be.

  • Hola. I realized as today progressed that I can't quite do a South Beach plan, because it doesn't allow fruit for the first 2 weeks and I have a lot of fruit around. So I am modifing the diet to allow for occasional fruit. Don't think that will slow me down too much. I feel really crummy today, I don't know exactly why, but I hope it's not the diet. I think I'm just tired, but we'll see tomorrow!
