  • Ruth! Way to go....that's a good loss It shows you're working hard, you deserved it!

Dianne, great minds think alike, huh? Joe bought himself a nice brown leather coat last year, but it's more of a dress coat. He wanted the bomber type to knock around in, so that's what I got him. I know it'll be a surprise, cause when he and Jess were out on Saturday, she had to talk him out of buying one for himself; she told him wait for sales, etc. Thank goodness!

The coolest gift I ever got him was a flying lesson in a small 4 seater plane at the airport in our town. He was thrilled; I've never been able to top that one. I wish he was into clothes, it'd be easier to buy for him.

Es, I don't blame you for wanting to spend time with David. I think that when they're grown the times together are just as important as when they were little. With the schedule Joey is working now, he's home during the day and we get to enjoy each other's company.

Terri, how cool is that, going to the Steelers' game? ! You'll have a blast. Going to stop at buying just one shirt? LOL Is the game this Sunday? the 23rd? I forgot when you're leaving....the 20th? At any rate, safe trip and have fun. Make sure you make use of Bruce's laptop and stay in touch!

    Hi to everyone.

  • Sandy,
Yes, you are right my cat is a detective He is always snooping in the kitchen cabinets and he somehow always discovers where I hide the cat goodies. "Nick Danger Third Eye". Congratulations, you are one of very few people who recognize where his name comes from. I guess we are showing our age BTW I made so many latkas over the weekend, we are still eating them, but I am counting all the points. They aren't as bad pointwise as I thought they would be.

    Ruth,
WTG Girl! You are awesome. You inspire us all!!!
    Keep up the good work.

    Terri,
Thanks again for the plateau articles. I read each of them over several times and my problem is/was that I was getting careless about journaling. I have been much more vigilent this week and we shall see how it goes when I WI tomorrow morning. It sounds like your CHristmas was a lot of fun. Your Britt sounds like a fantastic kid. Hope Ellen grows up to be as responsible. Have fun on your trip!

    Myra,
You have a great time tomorrow looking good in that size 10 knockout dress!

    Jen,
I know you have your final this week. Good Luck. And good luck with the job thing, that is so exciting! Right now I may be changing jobs here at the lab. My friend was just made head of the Environmental Protection Dept and she has been trying to hire me over there for a couple of years. I think she may succeed this time, because I am getting kind of bored where I am.

Hi to Essie, Dianne, Zoe, and anyone else I may have fogotten. We're getting so big I can't keep track, isn't that great.)

    Hugs to all,
    JanieD
