CDNcatlover, what's wrong? Give up on what? Hugsxxxxxx
Misti, VILE!!!! How good of you to tidy up the pool & find that someone had done that in it too. I hope you don't catch any germs though I'd have thought that all the chlorine would kill any nasties.xxxxxx
Peggy BELATED birthday wishes, hope you got lots of nice pressies & had a FAB day.xxxxxx
Torrister WTG on all that walking, doesn't it feel GREAT to feel fitter! BRILLIANT on the inches lost too.xxxxxx
Donna, at least with your kids being teens you'll get some time alone on your anniversary trip. Hope it all goes well & enjoy your Summer. Loved your son's Tux & boots combo, lol! He's a cutie, if I were 16 again I'd be ogling him, lol!xxxxxxx
Wyllen, WTG on being OP, it must be hard when you're 'normal sized' to stay OP, you can shop in regular stores, no one looks at you, you're fit & healthy.... BUT I understand how important staying there or improving is.xxxxx
Xena, glad you enjoyed your trip, where are the pics? Hope your dog wasn't TOO spoiled or pined for you.xxxxxxxx
Lesley, WTG on losing 51lbs AND getting your sugars in a healthier range. I'm sure I read somewhere about those blister things being something to do with a vitamin/mineral deficiency BUT I could be mistaken, hope it gets sorted out soon, it must be very sore and irritating.xxxxxxxx
Nancy, hope you find a new home soon & that things start going your way.xxxxx
Storysofar, how are you, just saw your ticker stuff & noticed you are getting a lapband/tummy surgery this MONTH!!!! Hope it goes well, look at LAnne!!!! She's a walking ad for how sucessful you can be.xxxxxxx
Lisa, I know what you mean about eating, I have a daily struggle with food BUT I'm sure I'll be a 14 before Christmas & that keeps me going!! Email if you want a chat.xxxxxx
Well nothing to report here, money is tight at the mo, I'm hot, hungry & fed up BUT I'm OP & walking an hour a day & about to do 40mins of salsa/toning, I REALLY NEED to be UNDER 16 stone this week!! (That's to lose at least 2lbs)
xxxxxsharon
ps Ammi is busy in her garden, as the weather is good, she's ok & OP.

I did 10 min onthe stairmaster and 2 min on the elliptical. I still hate that machine. It is just not natural. Plus I did lots of weights. I guess since this is already the 12th I had better go and add my minutes up and add them to the exercise thread. I will be getting lots more in the weeks to come.
Yesterday I got in 11,400 steps including a good 40 mins walk with hubby last night. I started out my birthday with a 40 minute walk this AM. Nothing like revving your engine for the day!! I am staying OP.
to those who are struggling, but not giving up. Keep coming back!! You can do it!!
I started going through the whole process of getting apporval for surgery in August last year and didn't really put much effort into losing the weight until I sat and thought about it in January of this year. I told myself, "Why are you going through all the hassle with the testing, insurance information, etc. if you are not going to put forth the effort to be a better you?" Made me change my tune really quick and I have been out exercising 4 days a week since January. Shoot, I had surgery on May 3rd and I was back out there May 7th walking my buns off.
for two days. Everyone please keep you fingers crossed
for me.
I will try to keep up as soon as the sun goes. But with Wales unpredictable weather I am making the most of the sunshine while I can. Take care all, be happy, keep losing, and I'll post again soon
