  • CDNcatlover, what's wrong? Give up on what? Hugsxxxxxx
Misti, VILE!!!! How good of you to tidy up the pool & find that someone had done that in it too. I hope you don't catch any germs though I'd have thought that all the chlorine would kill any nasties.xxxxxx
Peggy BELATED birthday wishes, hope you got lots of nice pressies & had a FAB day.xxxxxx
Torrister WTG on all that walking, doesn't it feel GREAT to feel fitter! BRILLIANT on the inches lost too.xxxxxx
Donna, at least with your kids being teens you'll get some time alone on your anniversary trip. Hope it all goes well & enjoy your Summer. Loved your son's Tux & boots combo, lol! He's a cutie, if I were 16 again I'd be ogling him, lol!xxxxxxx
Wyllen, WTG on being OP, it must be hard when you're 'normal sized' to stay OP, you can shop in regular stores, no one looks at you, you're fit & healthy.... BUT I understand how important staying there or improving is.xxxxx
Xena, glad you enjoyed your trip, where are the pics? Hope your dog wasn't TOO spoiled or pined for you.xxxxxxxx
Lesley, WTG on losing 51lbs AND getting your sugars in a healthier range. I'm sure I read somewhere about those blister things being something to do with a vitamin/mineral deficiency BUT I could be mistaken, hope it gets sorted out soon, it must be very sore and irritating.xxxxxxxx
Nancy, hope you find a new home soon & that things start going your way.xxxxx
Storysofar, how are you, just saw your ticker stuff & noticed you are getting a lapband/tummy surgery this MONTH!!!! Hope it goes well, look at LAnne!!!! She's a walking ad for how sucessful you can be.xxxxxxx
Lisa, I know what you mean about eating, I have a daily struggle with food BUT I'm sure I'll be a 14 before Christmas & that keeps me going!! Email if you want a chat.xxxxxx
Well nothing to report here, money is tight at the mo, I'm hot, hungry & fed up BUT I'm OP & walking an hour a day & about to do 40mins of salsa/toning, I REALLY NEED to be UNDER 16 stone this week!! (That's to lose at least 2lbs)
    xxxxxsharon
ps Ammi is busy in her garden, as the weather is good, she's ok & OP.
  • Boy it is quiet in there this week! Hope that means that you are all OP and busy enjoying life!

First day at the gym went ok. I wasnt really impressed by the chick that showed us around but thats ok. She's not the trainer. I was however impressed with ME I did 10 min onthe stairmaster and 2 min on the elliptical. I still hate that machine. It is just not natural. Plus I did lots of weights. I guess since this is already the 12th I had better go and add my minutes up and add them to the exercise thread. I will be getting lots more in the weeks to come.

Time for breakfast and some housework. I really need to do laundry too.
  • Morning everyone! Thanks for the Bday well wishes. It is actually *today* so none of you were late!! Yesterday I got in 11,400 steps including a good 40 mins walk with hubby last night. I started out my birthday with a 40 minute walk this AM. Nothing like revving your engine for the day!! I am staying OP.

It is *really* quiet hear chickies. Hoping you are all busy staying OP and getting your exercise done and enjoying the week.

Kayley, please check in and let us know what happened with your abdominal pain. I would be *very* pleased to have been wrong and hear an "I told ya so!" from you.

Congrats to all the losers this week and big to those who are struggling, but not giving up. Keep coming back!! You can do it!!
  • LitChick ~ Yeah, I would have never thought that I would get to the point where I get upset because I can't go for a walk in the morning. I started going through the whole process of getting apporval for surgery in August last year and didn't really put much effort into losing the weight until I sat and thought about it in January of this year. I told myself, "Why are you going through all the hassle with the testing, insurance information, etc. if you are not going to put forth the effort to be a better you?" Made me change my tune really quick and I have been out exercising 4 days a week since January. Shoot, I had surgery on May 3rd and I was back out there May 7th walking my buns off. And...I have to say that it irks me that with some low/no fat desserts, you trade the fat for the carbs. Bah! What a trade off...

voodoo ~ I am doing groovy. I had Lap-Band surgery last month and am into my 6th week post-op. Just been a victim of the bouncing ball syndrome with a couple pounds this month, think because TOM is looming. I am having my first fill done two weeks from today, so that should make me get full even faster from what I have been told by my doctor. Not that I am complaining.
  • Catherine: So sorry you are depressed right now. Hugs to you sweetie. I have been there so many times. I hope that you can get something to help you very soon.

Kymberly: I don't know how large you were when you started or if you have extra skin but if you do, remember that your extra skin weighs some too so don't get discouraged at the slow down. You are doing so well. Hugs.

Leslie: Whoop Whoop on another -4.2 pounds. You are doing so well.

Stormie: welcome back girl. I'm glad you decided to come post more. What part of the Sierra's do you live in? I used to live in Folsom CA right near Sac and my Brother that passed away last Novemeber used to live in Downeyville. Beautiful there.

Brenda: I'm happy for you to have joined the gym. I bet you will be putting some of those people to shame with your fitness ability. I can't wait to see some of your photos.

Debbie54:Whoop Whoop on another -5 pounds.

Lisa: I hope the diet gets easier for you hun. Hang in there.

Catlover: nooooooo! Don't give up. Just come and post and hopefully someone will say something to get you more motivated again. Please don't leave! You can do it hun. You are just going through a stall right now. Maybe you need to shock your body into eating a bit more for a time to get it going again. Hugs.

Sharon: Hugs to you sweetie. Thanks for letting us know how Ammi is doing.

Well, I stayed the same yesterday at my weigh in. I was disappointed but not to much because it showed on the moniter thing that I have gained 5 pounds of mucle in the past week and I was holding 3 pounds of extra water weight. SO there are reasons our bodies do things we just don't always know them. Hugs to you all. I am going out of town on Thursday Morning until the following Tuesday so I have lots to do today and tomorrow to prepare for my trip. Hope you are all doing wonderfully well and big blessing to you all.
    Bless you,
    Annie

  • I forgot to mention the pics! (I am so out of it today)

Donna - Your son is a real cutie. He totally pulled off the converse with the tux thing - I don't know how many people could do that!

Brenda - You are a great photographer. The wedding pictures were really lovely.
  • thanks guys! I try
  • Hi Ladies - Just a quick fly-by post...I posted a message in the Pudgy Pets forum (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...20#post1730820) about Jasmine's picture contest entry, so if you'd like to check it out (and vote for her! ) then drop by and read the message. If she gets enough friends to vote for her she will win a cozy pet bed! I've been doing alot of pics with her and putting them on my MSN space, so I thought I'd try out the contest, it's her first one. Anyways, on the weight loss front I'm holding at 340, ugh. But I will try to do something OP day by day and see what happens. Hope you all are well! I will continue to peek in from time to time.

    Melissa
  • Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around much, but I've actually been able to drag myself away from the PC and outdoors because the weather has been so lovely. I am way behind on personal replies, I will try to keep up as soon as the sun goes. But with Wales unpredictable weather I am making the most of the sunshine while I can. Take care all, be happy, keep losing, and I'll post again soon

    Hugs,

    Ammi
  • Good morning, everyone! I haven't been posting much either lately but have been in here reading. I wanted to wait until there was time for some personals but haven't made it yet!

Ammi, glad to see you back! Definitely good to get out of doors! I have been out more lately too since I got my new bike. I found out on the Internet there is a park just down the street from my house with a bike trail. It is a bit off the beaten track and I had no idea it was there! I am planning to check it out tonight.

Kayley, hope you are okay!! Glad you got the medical attention you needed and hope you are back in shape again soon!

Everybody stay OP! Keep up the good work!
